Pauley's such an adorkable woman! Her personality is just so bubbly that you just forget she's over 40 :P Best person to play Abby (the quirkiest, coolest "cop/detective/crime" show character) ever!

When she walked into the trailer where "DiNozzo" and "McGee" were, I thought they were a little bit like the actual characters.

Actually Pauley can pull off Abby just in jeans and the hat. She’s so amazing just as herself it’s quite incredible. I wonder what Pauley’s thought is about how much she and Abby have in common.
Given that her natural hair-color is blonde, how cute she looks in pigtails & makeup, and how well she plays a quirky character like Abby... am I the only one here that can picture her as Harley Quinn?

Just look her up just type in her name and her natural hair color and you'll see that she looks better as a blonde in more natural as a blonde

Anyone else notice Pauley transitioned to Abby somewhere right around after she put on the mascara and when she talked about the 2 lipstick colors?
The interaction between Abby and Gibbs is part of why I love the show. And it started making sense when Gibbs' backstory came to light (about losing his daughter). She's only a little bit older than Kelly would've been.

Abby was my heroine. I love her character, make up, clothes, everything. Show wasn't so good without her. No matter how others were good.
I love Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) of NCIS. She is a beautiful gothic "mad scientist" girl. She uses American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate with Deaf people or Gibbs. I am a fan of NCIS and Abby. I would chat her in ASL.

Yes- ABBY, A FICTIONAL CHARACTER- knows ASL. PAULEY, THE REAL LIFE HUMAN- is a rock star and does NOT know ASL so she won't be chatting. Not putting down ASL because I think it's awesome and I use it with my Grandma but we need to separate the character from the person. Actors are people. They are not the people they play.
I had to stop watching after she left.

+Lacey Noel its great because she really does talk a lot just like on the show. At least that part is real. Maybe the tattoo is false, the hair, etc but the Abby talk is exactly the same.

Good to see our daily routine explained in a simple and accessible way, for all to know !
That doesn't take any of the "magic" out of the thing... but kinda helps everyone understanding these jobs (as all other ones) take time, skills, concentration, preparation, patience (etc.)... to be done the right way.
Exemple : for just a "bald effect" on an actress/actor with hair, make-up work can go way beyond 4 jours. And I'm not even considering any special effect at all... which can double or triple this !
Love Pauley....gonna miss her Abbisms next season. I would like to also take a moment to send my sympathies to Joe's family. Such a talent in the industry. RIP.

I imagine for a while they did her makeup but then she did it. A makeup artist shouldn't have to do the actors makeup EVERY time, but the DO need to make sure it's done correctly and the same for each shoot.
Cathy Cat yes because they can’t do everything by them selves and that not just Abby’s makeup it probably everyone’s and that her preference to do most by herself

We may remember the good days with fondness. However, we need to go on living, and make other great memories. At the end we'll have so much beautiful experiences; and that's how you build a wonderful life; one day at the time. 💪🏼😎👍🏼
