Merging into a retreating squad is such a game design fail! What is going on at relic!
Probably has to do with them trying to encourage aggression. Retreat bonuses and merge while retreat let u push deeper with lower risks
Only grens can and honestly they better with how utterly useless they are as a unit other than merging
6:00 is why COH 3 is inferior
