Hull Fair 2022

The best night of the year (that we only did twice this year as opposed to three times last year). I filmed this on the insanely busy first Friday night, then came back on a more relaxed Wednesday for some rides. I’ve learnt the trick is to go one weekend night for the food and atmosphere and a weeknight for a good ride cycle because I’ve been going to Hull fair for years now and it just seems to get busier and busier.
I really enjoy Ice Jet, but it really was great to see Air back in its rightful headline act spot. It still looks odd with the missing seat, and it did feel a bit slower on this go, but it’s been missed really badly. And with the loss of Xtreme from last year, it’s return was very timely.
Another highlight was the return of Airmaxx. It seems to spend the majority of its time at wristband fairs down south nowadays so it was great to get back on this again. And yes, it’s still insane.
We had a good ride on Jet Force, but unfortunately the seat mechanism failed at the end and we got stuck on it for a good half an hour in the rain! Good to know the safety mechanism works though!
The highlight of the night was King Loops. We got what must have been a ten minute absolutely insane cycle. I don’t think I’ve ever been so dizzy after a ride before. It was absolutely hilarious.
All in all, two great nights at what is easily the best fair in the country.

@@ridesslidescoasters6622 yeah it dose look really good especially the nighttime videos, I find that the iPhone camera handles the lights really bad and when I turn the exposure down you can barely see the actual ride just the light, on top of that when I turn exposure down there seems to be a lot of fuzz in the black areas

Ye, when I was looking at what to get, most things said to stay away from IPhones unless you go for a top of the range one.
