Sir, I would like to see a second part to it where sections through curved walls/forms are discussed. Also, sections through stairs which are not aligned to other walls in a building would be appreciated. :)
Nice skills. I appreciate your time devoted to spreading knowledge of our profession. Keep up the videos so drawing and understanding design becomes a larger part of our culture. As an aside, that would be a very difficult roof to frame with the members running perpendicular to the slope... But it definitely made for a more dramatic section!
Es uno de los mejores canales de arquitectura... Genial ! Saludos desde Perú!
I study architecture engineering... and it's very difficult to draw section!!
Thanks for this video , and I'm looking for more ❤
Have you graduated yet?

thanks for this. may i know what pen are u using? what specific brand? I would like to try. thanks
+Jeric Almadin He is using Artline pens. Sakura Pigma Micron are equally great, and they are waterproof, unlike the artline ones.
Awesome videos from Fargo North Dakota! You should definitely do a video on marker rendering in sketches to convey material ideas within a space or on a building!
Thank you . I am trying to do a section drawing myself for a home addition and this is very helpful
This is really great! I've been watching your videos from last year and they've really helped improve my skills in sketching! Thank You! By the way, what's the music you are using when you start to sketch? It's very inspiring
Awesome, good luck to keep your videos, I liked so much, very simple and easy to understand.
guys your videos are awesome but i suggest you to make an intro for your videos ;)

You deserve a Million Subs 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This is AWESOME< I am so glad I found your channel, I am going to try to draw these daily draws to help improve my drawing and designs as I progress through my Architecture University course. +1 Sub :D

Hi, I am currently studying Architectural Engineering. I am finding it hard to find the proper pens for drawing sections and elevations. Could you please do a video showing what you use when you draw? Thanks!

Good luck!!!...and im studding architecture engineering also...my second year....
+Sarah Shaker, it is not "repidograph" as mentioned below, but "rapidograph" by Rotring. These pens are expensive and can break depending on the type of paper you are using. Cheaper options include Artline (like he is using in the video), Sakura Pigma Micron pens (really great), Staedtler technical pens. The Sakura Pigma pens have a very good fine nib, better than Stadtler in my opinion, and they are waterproof, so if you decide to do a watercolour wash on top of your line work, it will not all melt away.
Very simply done!
Awesome tutorial,helped a lot👍
Thank you so much for the videos!
