God was holy enough that he had to die and he was loving enough to be glad to.

    Isaiah 25:6-8
6 On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
7 And he will swallow up on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all peoples,
the veil that is spread over all nations.
    8 He will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
    for the Lord has spoken.

Seems it would have been a shame and embarrassment for the Bride’s parents, this is new for me to consider running out of wine at the wedding would have brought shame to the bride and groom. I am reading Encounter with Jesus. Very much enjoy Tim Keller’s teaching.

Quite a bit was left out on that end of days recitation. 😂 How the hell will all the suffering be taken away when most people are predestined to it? Has Keller gone universalist?

Why no Dinosaurs on Noah's ark? Was Noah a dinosaur hater?

killersushi99 Hello, How do you know that there were no baby dinosaurs on the Ark? Many animals that were on the Ark are now extinct. There are many mentions of Dragons in history too, but we don't see them today. I believe they have all gone the way of the Passenger pigeon and the Wooly Mammoth.

First of all you have to believe the earth is only 6,000 years old AND that dinosaurs would have been around to even be put on the ark. In other words dinosaurs were around MILLIONS of years ago but the Bible and its ark story cannot support this. This is the huge flaw in the biblical ark story. The timeline is ruined by the ancient fossil remains of the dinosaurs.

Yes, you are correct. One does have to believe, something. We do not, as humans, live in suspended animation or a vacume when it comes to believing some one who tells us something about what we observe in the three dimensional world that we live in.

      Dinosaurs were on the ark.
Although there are about 668 names of dinosaurs, there are perhaps only 55 different ‘kinds’ of dinosaurs. Furthermore, not all dinosaurs were huge like the Brachiosaurus, and even those dinosaurs on the Ark were probably ‘teenagers’ or young adults. Indeed, dinosaurs were recently discovered to go through a growth spurt, so God could have brought dinosaurs of the right age to start this spurt as soon as they disembarked.
Creationist researcher John Woodmorappe has calculated that Noah had on board with him representatives from about 8,000 animal genera (including some now-extinct animals), or around 16,000 individual animals. When you realize that horses, zebras, and donkeys are probably descended from the horse-like ‘kind’, Noah did not have to carry two sets of each such animal. Also, dogs, wolves, and coyotes are probably from a single canine ‘kind’, so hundreds of different dogs were not needed.
According to Genesis 6:15, the Ark measured 300 x 50 x 30 cubits, which is about 460 x 75 x 44 feet, with a volume of about 1.52 million cubic feet. Researchers have shown that this is the equivalent volume of 522 standard railroad stock cars (US), each of which can hold 240 sheep. By the way, only 11% of all land animals are larger than a sheep.
Without getting into all the math, the 16,000-plus animals would have occupied much less than half the space in the Ark (even allowing them some moving-around space).

If dinosaurs lived such a long time ago (died out some 65 million years ago is the conventional timeline) why are there soft tissue and blood cells in dinosaur bones? Again, then say that in perfect preservation conditions (i.e. deeply frozen for example) the soft tissue can only last a maximum on 6.8 million years (Note: no one put bones in the freezer, then take them out only after 6.7 million years and go like: 'Look, they're still good' - it's just a calculation based on assumptions). So if soft tissue is assumed to last a maximum of 6.8 million years in perfect preservation conditions, how comes dinosaur tissue was preserved for 65 million years in far less than perfect conditions? Maybe because dinosaurs are not millions of years old?
