RE the storage sitch: Suggest just buying a >4TB spinning-disk-drive.... they have by FAR the cheapest dollars-per-gigabyte.... slam that in an empty corner of your PC... and just every so often, drag-and-drop all your old footage into it. Then, much later, you can worry about all the fancy Cloud / Home-server solutions.
You're normally obsessed with fire, but then decline it with vanguards? WTF? Their attack is 8 attacks x 8 damage. So with +2 damage, it becomes 8x10, or 16 extra damage. a +25% damage increase. More of an increase if the target has armor. And declining it for a 15% attack speed increase? I like attack speed on them, but fire is just too juicy.

Well, attackspeed was a hedge for if i needed to use wrathwalkers. wrathwalkers and fire suck LMAO
Like Wujooz said, it was in case he needed to Wrathwalkers. And Fire is a bit less than a 2% boost to Wrathwalker DPS.

Yeah ascendants much better than vanguards especially in synergy
Vs Tychus ascendants are definitely not the play though, neither are vanguards
