My June 2024 vacation
Day 2 part 2. Finally arrived in Lesotho 🇱🇸. Yay! It was a long process at the boarder crossing between South Africa 🇿🇦 and Lesotho 🇱🇸 due to rush hour, but it was worth the wait. Lesotho is nice but it was cold. Lesotho is a mountain country and June is winter. It does snow, but it didn't snow during my short stay. However, their were some icy moments..lol
In part 2, made it to Maseru. Booked an airbnb. The host sent a video which was helpful directions to the location.
Lesotho is a small landlock country. Nice and clean. The people were friendly and helpful. English is widely spoken, however as an American, I find it necessary to slow down when speaking so I could be better understood..lol.

Day 1 Road trip in Southern Africa. Rented a car for hire, for a road trip. Started in Cape Town. Went to Hanover for a break. Starting in Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦
Day 2 Road trip Continue from Hanover to Maseru, Lesotho 🇱🇸
Day 3 through Day 6 explore Maseru
Day 7 traveled from Maseru, Lesotho 🇱🇸 to Mbabane, Swaziland 🇸🇿 no stop.
Day 8 through 10 explore Mbabane, Swaziland 🇸🇿
Day 11(received bad news from home, Grandma passed away) Road trip cut short.
Day 12 Traveled Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦 . Road trip ended.
(stayed in Johannesburg for 3 days and departed home to the US 🇺🇸)
