while we were driving in thembisa from church, my uncle asked me why is thembisa full of alcohol spots and churches. i couldnt find the answer! he responded by saying its because Thembisa and other kasi’ like it are traumatized societies so its either people drink or pray to deal with the depression
Wow
Your uncle gave me an answer I've been looking for...
I learnt alot about myself, my ideas about money and investing while watching this.
I realise if you do not teach yourself good money habits while you are broke, u will also have bad money habits when u get money.
maybe some people are just born to be poor, idk
YASSSSSSS
That's true
" Sometimes ignorance is the generational curse not poverty"
Mos Def wena thats a Mammon spirit nje
Not sometimes it’s everytime.
People repeat the mistakes of their ancestors and call it a curse
It's hard not being ignorant in poverty.
Thats true
More like pride, people like that will never wanna hear anything from anybody
this is one of the examples of why poverty will never end
It's actually sad😭
It will if people just educate them selves on the moola
@@khumomatlakane2009 Africas biggest problem, no financial education at all
It's because poor people love to please and impress people they don't even like and they crave validation from people with higher social status than them.💯
You are a coward use these lessons to end your own poverty and that of your family.
Someone would watch this and actually go repeat the same mistakes 😂😂🚮

I know right
We always blame other people for our mistakes, we never take responsibility for our actions.
He blames Tshepo yet he was the one saying he wants to finish his money before he dies. He doesn't want to take accountability. This exactly what happens when you become a "Get rich quick scheme" member.
So true he wants to blame other people koda uyidlile wayiqeda imali
He got the money from an accident fund not from a get rich quick scheme.

U can buy it. I stay in a R500000 house bond if I had cash I could have bought it without paying interest on it.He is just ignorant and Dom that's all
Trusting Tshepo or not trusting him has nothing to do with your poor spending habits.
I bet if he gets another 1 million he will do the same and regret again.
Hahaha it's a vicious cycle

Schools need to understand that financial management should be taught at schools from early grades such as Grade 4 onwards, it is very necessary!!!
1million within 6months😂😂😂that was not hard earned cash simple to blow it...no financial advisor
That's why starting from the bottom with no shortcuts is the best thing you can do for yourself. You'll never spend money wreck less coz u know what u went thru to get it
Thabo Manana he didn’t even reach 6 months
And that's why they need to teach us financial literacy and entrepreneurship, 😭
He didn't learn anything at all. He think it was someone fault
And this is the problem with Africans. It's always someone else's fault. We lack the ability to introspect.

Hai, Tshepo did not take his money.
Am I the only one wondering what happened to the girlfriend he got when he got that money?
Like was she part of the T&Cs.
🤣🤣🤣
I can never comprehend this . Money management should be taught in school.
Haowa this dude can't blame tshepo, he should blame himself
Thank you for the lesson, now stand on your feet and work hard. This kind of mistake is there in life. We cannot put you in the dustbin and throw you away. What I can do is tell you that you felled, stand up, put yourself together, clean yourself and continue with your journey. At least I have learned something out of your story and I cannot do it. When standing, know that Jesus loves you. Thank you.
Well said. but you forgot to tell him to dust himself up before he continues with his journey.
This is a good show, telling us their stories so that we do not repeat the same mistake, but it is really painfool just imagine being in the same situation

The easiest thing he could do to save his money was to buy flats and become a landlord.
wisdom chipendo exactly
it's expensive to be a landlord buddy. that 1 million is nothing
@@sibusisomondlane7585 thats not true , even if it was one flat, he could have managed to gain mothly income. After all the costs to mantain a flat are fixed
sibusiso mondlane 20% deposit on a 30 year plan
No, that's dangerous ! The tenants could STOP paying you their rent anytime and if you try to evict them they will call the cops on you and raise a defense in terms of the Consumer Protection Act or report you to the Rental Housing Tribunal, etc, the promulgation of that act has caused so much trouble for the so-called "LandLords", throwing people's belongings out into the street or disconnecting electricity/water is now an OFFENSE punishable in a very serious way.
Atleast he lived a life we all wish to have at some point
You can say that again
And if he wasn't ignorant he could've had it his whole life.
D major problems here is people don’t wanna take a book and educate themselves.
underrated comment.
why is this guy saying Tshepo took his money? Wayiqeda Mos
one million couldnt buy him a decent haircut or a comb atleast

Tebogo is a typical example of someone who doesn't want to take the blame for all that's happening to him so he starts to point fingers.....
it's incredible to know that many who didn't born in riches and was granted the privilege to accumulate/earn some real cash, spend it impulsively without thinking that they would return to their original proverty stricken state
The issue of not educating one's self about money is real. At the end of the day, even our schooling system doesn't teach us about money.
a fool and his money are soon parted
1. Take responsibility for your mistakes 2. Wealth is based on ownership (Real Estate), don't blow your money on perishables to impress people who will not give you the right advice and laugh at you tomorrow. 3. Don't be stuck on your past and live regretting the mistakes you made, get back up and treat them as a lesson.
Thats why its important to listen people's advices and financial advisers !to avoid things like this.
love this show
What time does it show?
Hi Vanessa. Every Saturday at 19:00
This just proves that to fix poverty you don't give people money. You have to educate people, change the way they think first, then they will make their own money.
So he didnt buy a bed, or even a two plate stove? Instead he bough expensive shoes and clothes, no brother please take accountability for your own actions.
And these ones are the ones who get lucky with money... They win competitions and all but after 6 months there's nothing to show ukuthi this person got a mill or something
They should teach us more about the importance money management in schools
If only life had a rewind button.🧏♂️🤷♀️
U muss be extra careful Broe nexttime but I don't think u will get another chance 😁😁😁
Love them, but don't trust anyone.
Wise words and true
Easy come easy go
Living a life in Poverty you will learn habits that will reinforce poverty. You have to teach yourself new habits in order to get out of poverty and stay out. Most people who have a windfall of money dont get a chance to change their habits whereas a person who is slowly earning more money every other year can gradually learn and reinforce new habits if they choose to relearn. Ofcourse it all start with KNOWING that you not only coming from poverty but that you have habits that encourages poverty, only then can you decide to change it!! Ignorance truly is a curse!!
Imagine being a Tshepo and they can't tshepa you 😂😂😂
When is the show aired?
Saturdays, 19:00
They must air the show every December time
I always say the thing poor people want most is money so they can better themselves but when they get it they waste it.

easy cash it canb a problem also most ppl lack financial education
Yooo he finished 1 million in less than 6 months 🙆♂️
Nah guys that money he did not work for it he never knew he would have such amount of money he never had plans about it
A million is nothing in today's life . Even worse if you don't spend it sparingly
1million not even reaching 6months 🥺
Teboho didn't chow all his money in six months...he didn't buy a car or furniture. There's something fishy here. You see that guy with a nose that resembles a boxing glove, what his name?...Tshepo he knows where Teboho's money is.
He ddn even buy property?🙆♀️
Poverty is a mentality
RAF and Insurance Policies must not pay in lump sum. period. Unless one is buying a house or a car (1). Looks like people need to be micro managed :)
And you hear people say give every poor man a million it does not work like that
The unquenchable desire for the spotlight . Spending what you're not earning , Lack of a critical Financial advisor who will tell you cool down money is not going out of Fashion spend wise
Kodwa R1m in actual fact is not a lot of money if we can be honest, you cant even buy a house with R1m
But if I can spend it wisely and invest it. U can use if for A lot of years and buy expensive stuff. A key it to invest
@Russel Mtlokwa Whoow that's what privilege sounds like...., A house can be bought in so many places for less than a million rands, it depends who you're talking to.
You can actually buy two flats with R1 million
...Are you sure?
My sister lives in a 450k house eSprings.
Now take 100k and buy a car then join uber or taxify or something, right there on 600k you are sorted.
For those who don't HV it, it's a lot of money.
These types are getting into government and getting their hands on public funds - what do you imagine they are doing...?!

Did they have your pin number? These people you are blaming? Scary.
I don't empathize with such people saying that don't trust people closest to you bro you have your mind no one puts a pistol on your head to spend money on them so its your fault
IF ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD WAS DISTRIBUTED TO EVERYONE.. IT WILL GO BACK TO THE HANDS OF THE WEALTHY AGAIN... MONEY IS A SCIENCE..... IT'S NOT ABOUT SPENDING ONLY..
Why is it always guys that blew money like that bafethu....aii embarrassed bafe2 😢
But how did Tsepo steal his money? I wish they could explain more in that area. R1 million in six months !?? No matter how reckless he was spending his money but it sounds suspicious. If he was an idiot like they say, leaving his bank statements everywhere including all his personal documents, they sure did screw him up at some point while not watching. He doesn't seem smart anyway to have had Online banking and cell phone banking.
Iesh grootmani 😢
Financial education is important
The rewards of stupidity are undefeated. No sympathy
Garvey Mfeka definitely not stupidity but it’s ignorance, the guy grew up probably fantasizing about finer things in life, what he didn’t have is education and proper advice, u can’t know everything in the world
@@MegaNjabulo to an extent, ignorance. A large part of it, stupidity.
Perhaps the world needs more people like you, that sympathize and see the best in people, I tend to lean on a harsher truth, a lot of people don't find themselves in situations because of mostly ignorance, but stupidity
We oppress our selves , by being poorly minded
