    Great video. My son is on the rowing team and we love Eagle Creek. However, they do allow motorboats though. Has to be under 10 horsepower. quote FAQ: "Boats must be 8-foot minimum, 26-foot maximum, with a 10 horsepower motor limit."

    Few weeks back, early April 2021 I had been to Eagle Creek Park. Entered from South Gate. Being a local resident, I just had to pay $5/vehicle.
    Enjoyed family time out there with little picnic around Lilly Lake. Best possible place to have family time. Walk around the lake was highlight.
    Thanks for video.!

    I'd like to see videos on book fairs, author fairs, and nature festival events in Indiana. I'm still scouring through UA-cam for this year's events.

    I’ve been going to eagle for a long time. The park itself inside the gates is very safe. The roads outside of it like 38th an others is murder hotspots. I fish it all the time but use the boat ramp. I get my bait in Noblesville even thought I live in Lebanon there is zero bait shops around!

      There’s Indy Bait and Tackle on N High School Road. It’s just a few blocks north of Crawfordsville Road and east of 465. It’s about 10 minutes or so to the boat ramp.

    Actually, you're allowed to use motors on boats. It just has to be 9.9 HP or less.

    Is it a safe place for a woman to walk on the trails by herself?

    • @LivingInIndianapolis
      @LivingInIndianapolis  3 роки тому

      I've never known it to be an unsafe place. It's a park that's only open during the day and you have to pay to get in or have an annual pass. That helps as well.

      I WOULD NOT reccomend a place to walk alone ( without proper percaution i.e. telling someone your whereabouts, location on yourself, communicative updates) in most places no matter how "safe"

    I live in Downtown Chicago however 2 days a week I work at our office in S. Indy. I almost moved to Fishers 3 years ago cause at the time I was doing more work in Indy. I'm suppose to go to the canopy walk at this park with a chick when it opens up. I just subbed to your channel perhaps you can persuade me to move to Indy finally lol or neighboring suburb.
