I’ve been dabbling with Intermittent fasting over the past year. Dropped out of it for a month or two when things got busy. I’m down from 266 to 245. My goal is about 170, so I’m in for the long haul. I.F. Has been the most promising thing I’ve tried so far...But mine sounds different than what Holly describes. Mine is currently a window of 6hrs to eat + 18hrs no food/day.
i modified mine cuz there was no way i could not eat for 18 hours . . . i just went with what worked for me & i dropped weight . . . & i didn't feel like i was starving . . . once i get back into working out (paddling, hiking, surfing, etc.), i'll consider incorporating IF back into my life . . . for now, i'm just plugging along on meat, fruits, vegetables & nuts!-h.
@@pritchandmoan 18/6 is just one schedule. It can be whatever length works. I’ve dabbled with 20/4, but that’s pushing it. 18/6 is sustainable for me,but my wife just can’t do it. She can handle 14/10 .
