Since the beginning of the 21st century, it is an interesting nuance as far as image is concerned, Andrew underwent a metamorphosis becoming his own logo, a caricature, he stopped being 'gothic', his sound is a degraded pop, very sad, it is far his great show at 'Royal Albert Hall', among others, we will keep those memories and forget this Mera Luna 2022.
@@GothicCrypt Nah. It was still there up to Vision Thing. Just Gothic Rock with a capital 'R' this time around. Now the 'R' stands for retirement. No idea how he pays the bills. Shame Eldritch refused the use of This Corrosion in the legendary 'Bohemian Rhapsody' car scene in Wayne's World. Big mistake!
@@davescott618 I had no idea about Wayne's World and "This Corrosion", this is such a fun fact! Well, it's a bit sad, but I believe that he is still capable of making good songs IN THE STUDIO. That is if he ever decides to release them in proper, recorded form (with decent, studio enhanced vocals)
Richtig druckvoll.
Love this song!!

If you were hanging around post punk Britain in the early 80s you totally get Andrew Eldritch and SOM.
Genevieve, I think you're lovely
I made you cry, I made you mine
Genevieve, I think you're lovely
But Genevieve, it's time
New song for me... Might have it on bootlegs 1997-2006

Dude he has left that old gothic image right after FL&A. Did you just notice?
Gotta agree with Ful here. This is not great. Maybe properly recorded versions would shine a light but this new stuff live is not great.

This is a good performance. For those criticisms of the voice. He actually sounds good here compared to some other gigs.
Sisters must play at night!
Bei Tageslicht ist das nix!
The Sisters of Mercy (Andrew Eldritch) made a lot of good music and albums, but live...
it sucks
