The Marimba band. Brought tears to my eyes, just demonstrates how much joy, beauty and creativity is there within every human, it just needs to be nurtured and given the means to be expressed. If only leaders and people with power to influence could take the opportunity to help people in the spirit of that schools founder the world would be a much better place. Their legacy would also shine brighter than any war, mega yacht or vanity project they might create.
The story behind the school, encapsulated by the Marimba band, brought me to tears. Thank you Andrew for putting together this amazing series and highlighting how lucky we are and how much we take for granted every day. Kind regards, Dan
I immensely enjoyed this series, and this episode is probably one of my favorites. I've learned so much about storytelling watching these videos. I loved the segment about the school and the marimba band!
As a Zimbabwean I love the Mbira/marimba in the background... I do play both and I miss it. Thanks for the great videos Andrew looking for more and I'm gonna pay for your extra stuff on your website. Meeting you someday would be awesome :)
Great video and commentary. In a week I've watched the hole series now I'm waiting for the new videos. Well worth it. By the way great map in the sand =)
