The first 20 seconds of this video is beautiful. Looks like a real army with battalions of men marching in order while officers on horse are riding around. *chefs kiss*
Yes, Apollo, the walls are blocking the bullets. The best way to find out is just look at the shootouts when unit is behind one. U can see bullets crushing into that wall.
Uniform notes: -3:50 probably some sort of citizen militia. Don't know much about Austrian ones, but Spanish partisans were very often accompanied by monks and friars
3:50 By the name tag "Kastelbell Schützen", as the place "Kastelbell" is in South Tirol and the fact it belongs to 1809 Austrian Crops, it should be a rebel unit that fight against French in Tyrolean Rebellion 7:00 By the look of it, I believe it's Saxon Garde-Reiter, a guard heavy cavarly unit from Saxony as allied force for France. Saxony is known for their horse riding skill and they did performed well in Napoleonic Wars.
Look up Father Joachim Haspinger, a capuchin priest and one of the leaders of the Tyrolean rebellion of 1809 against the Bavarians. There are some epic depictions of him in his habit and cross leading Tyroleans in battle
Playing ottomans or mamlukes in napoleonic was so fun either you got destroyed or dominated the opposite side . I remeber massing cavarly on my side and preparing for the charge
10:11 Fun fact, Fajtl (pronounced like fightle) is an actual word. Or a surname to be precise. It is a name of a WW2 fighter pilot who served in the RAF Just a a little reprisal for that swamp v march fact.
As I understand it, in NTW everyone was finally leveled for the sake of stupid balance and the only difference is the color of the uniforms. When the light cavalry of the Mamluks, wrapped in rags, destroyed the heavy cuirassiers in seconds ( moreover, the cuirassiers flew into the standing Mamluks ) - logic and realism went out the window and common sense followed them. The Battle of the Pyramids says hello.
I hear camels use to live in green land where the land use to be a lot more hotter then it was today I heard about it in my geography where they found DNA of a camel in the dirt and many other types of DNA how my comment is relevant to topic idk

As someone who has been playing this game for ages you’d think he would have known that already.

The discription says that they are skirmishers from a small town in southern Trirol.
I googled it and it looks like it is a shooting club that still exists today
Friars
@music123videos you're right, I'm sorry
@Norwegian_guy89 When I googled it, it said that this club is only 70 years old.

napoleon era military at home:
A bit of a fun goofy one! I think the mamaluke cavalry just melted French Brains this day 😂
Great commentary as usual mate ❤️
LOL the guy at 3:45 is PA himself.😂😂
25:24 not just guns but stakes too, that cav would've been sliced bleu d'Auvergne
3:45 pls Apollo! Make a life of a soldier vid about this guy🙏
10:11

I remembered watching you years ago when you where just starting. Wow! Keep it up
Another day of getting stoned to the bone and watching Mr Apollo

3:44 Bro that is a mage
I really miss lord of the rings battles, those were the days 😂
NTW3 battles are peak
I love me some mamalukes on bannerlords. Very slept on unit in my opinion.
Day 3 of asking Apollo to play Lines of battle
Gotta be the worst french player I’ve ever seen on the French right 😭. Didn’t protect any guns and didn’t know how to maneuver
Good video. But let's be honest, we all want more of bannerlord. This was a bit of a disappointment.
BRO IS 50K AWAY FROM ONE MIL!!!!
For real!!
one thing i've noticed, nobody ever uses howitzers. Is it because they're shit?
🎉🎉
Have you ever played bladestorm
I love your videos.
Mamluk so cool
And Denmark at the end just letting himself get charged over and over again 😂
that one austrian unit looks like a religious person (idk how to say in English but Moine in french)
Monk :D
Go France. Always for France
Why those charges are so slow, it seems like everything is like 50% speed besides shooting and reloading, takes away from the experience for sure
how to install ntw3?
Steam
@strategic_knight9124 how?

Great fun but I really don't like the moral system of NTW3. Basically every cavalry unit breaks near instantaneously.
And i hate how morale red lines n green lines constantly in melee, its just tedious.
Hungarian map💪🏻😂
👍
Is Austria really that bad?
hello :)
