Lovely video! Thank you for the work you do. I'm an archaeologist and historian, and I am so jealous of your work and your patience! You are lovely, Mrs. Wilson. Hugs from Arizona, USA
You can tell that Mrs. Wilson thinks herself the luckiest person in the world because she's been able to do what she loves since 1981. And, she's absolutely right!

I would LOVE to see more!
So interesting, thank you very much for this video.
I would rock green and purple plaid!
I adore your work! Any advice for a fashion student looking to get into textile conservation?
I could tell it was an American dress. Perfect that it was from the Gold Rush days. I can just picture it.
I can't imagine a collector not taking better care of such a rare item, not to mention wearing anything over and over without washing - ugh.
Yikes, this is why we don't wear originals... and why larger more wearable sized dresses are rarer.
The music ruins the commentary: jarring, unnecessary, intrusive.
