  • In this video, I’ll teach you how to loosen up your drawing and see more of the big picture.
Working on lines may seem BASIC, but it’s actually a fundamental skill that is well worth putting time into, wherever you are as an artist. Drawing big enables you to SEE big, which will help you capture the essence of what you’re drawing, and will make the whole drawing hold together better. It will also look much more confident-bye bye hatchy pencil strokes that look like a bird’s nest!
This is an excellent way to improve your life drawing, or any drawing. And it directly applies to your paint strokes as well!

Hi Sarah! Sorry for the late reply--this is a crazy time of year. I've somehow misplaced your email, but I wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing your beautiful art. I miss the ponderers, too. I'm spending Wednesday nights this season practicing art, but I look forward to coming back when my life responsibilities ease off a bit. Send my love to everyone, and thank you for checking in! Take care :)
