Yes, new baby goats have a hard time regulating their body temp. Definitely shade and cool place for them for a while.

STEPH ONE THING BAD ABOUT THE THE WATER CONTAINERS OUTSIDE LIKE THEY ARE IS THE WATER GETS HOT CHICKENS REALLY NEED COOL WATER TO HELP COOL THEM DOWN I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PUTTING IN THE COOPS IN THE SHADE I KNOW IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE MORE WORK BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO GO IN AND FEED AND IT WILL MAKE FOR HEALTHIER CHICKENS
People have been saying this since the beginning of summer. As you can tell, they have not listened.
You say Brandon wants them on the outside but now you know the chickens NEED cool water, why wouldn’t you want the best for your birds?

@@suesteig3025 The kids are in charge of the waters. It's easier for them to refill them when they are kept outside of the pens. I have seen them put frozen water bottles in the chickens water. I don't believe they have lost any chickens doing it this way.😊

The new babies don’t know the difference in shade and sun. It’s pretty important to look out for babies born in the heat of the summer and make sure they r not left in the sun. When they r panting like that is definitely a sign of being too hot. Best of luck with them it will help a lot when ur able to keep them separate from the Billie’s for better timed breeding. I know yall have tried but remember there is one Billy that jumps the fences. Thanku for being u and for doing what yall do. 🐾❤️🐾

Those new babies are so cute. They need more shade. Momma's don't always understand what is best for them so you may have to move them or put up a temp shade cover. She needs to be with them at that young age too. Some Momma's just don't get it so you may need to intervene and lock them up together. I've had some overly protective Momma's then some that could care less unless you made them.
Some thing that would make a really good luck for your fencing would be a couple of carabiners. They’re much easier to open and because they click back you won’t lose them in the grass.
Nice day there and here also ,blue skys love them ,got the Maple Tree trimed finally can get up snd down step ladder due to knee injury ,and put up a clothes line so thankful to have one again, nothing like clothes dryed out side they smell so good, and have a crispness to them alwise hang cloths up all my years being a mom and on my own ,missed it, now have one again

Steph, the babies are soooo cute! They are panting because they are hot. If mom is not keeping them in the shade maybe put them in a cooler spot during the hottest part of the day until they get older. Everybody I know that’s got an iPhone and even all the channels I watch that use iPhones have the same problem Steph. They got the soffit and the electric installed pretty quick, that’s awesome. They will throw that sheetrock up in no time. The house is gonna be finished before you know it.
The network cables added are extremely advantageous to have. It is faster than wireless, not to mention that it makes the house worth more $. A great thing is you can😮 have the point of entry (DMARC) come into the office, add a wireless router that connects into the wired network. Put a wireless extender (NEST/MESH) in, connected to the wire and your connectivity will be almost the same as it is in the office. compared to a wireless signal from the office to the master bedroom. That signal has to go through all of the sheetrock, electrical wires and any venting materials.
I have always said if you are building a house, add network cable into each room. You may not use it all but it's easier to install it with the electrical wiring.
(I've was in the networking industry for almost 35 years)

Hose your llamas down they love it you can do the same with your dogs but goats don't like water on them.
I love your relaxing videos and 'hanging out' with you. Those twin goats are so adorable. I pray they will be alright. Do you think they may be running a fever, since you thought they were hot? Could they have a bacterial infection? Is it okay to give them an antibiotic? I know nothing about taking care of farm animals. Don't mind my questions. I just worry about everyone. I know that you know a heap more than I do about farming and farm animals. Leighton did such a great job. Like you said, he just needs to slow it all down a bit. He thought the sheet rock for the walls was plywood, so he may want to educate himself on his subject a bit more. But he did much better than I expected he would for his first time doing it. He was patient with Cayson when Cayson would join into the video briefly. He was being such a good big brother. I love each and every one of you as the great, kind hearted people that you all are. Stephanie, you and Brandon are such amazing parents, and I am so proud of you both and of your kiddos. too. I'm wishing you all a great school year! Those baby goats are so cute but very tiny. That one that was panting so hard is way too hot. You might want to put them in the barn, not the red one. And make sure the mama stays right with them. They seemed too far away from her. Obviously, yall know more about goats but since the mama had premies that didnt make it, last time, Id be cautious with them.❤

Yes an umbrella a tiny one that fits on your phone. They do sell them for real. 😂
have you thought about the attic space, if so be a good time to put plywood down and a attic stair thing in place. in master closet so it is away.
Get you a gel pack like you would put in a lunch box , they come in different sizes and you could put a rubber band around each end of the phone to keep it on the phone
Make sure they can get to some water. If it gets too hot I have seen people bring them inside during the hot hot times of the day. Also try to make sure they are in the shade.

I used to keep portable fan to blow on the back of the phone to try and keep it cool and it works most of the time.

I love watching you with the animals. Praying for Kayson's sinus infection to heal. I have bad sinus problems myself and it's miserable at times. We had a dust storm the other day and it made the symptoms worse. The goat babies are adorable! Keep up the good work on the videos!

As an Uber Driver in New Orleans, my phone is held on the Dash in Direct sun(heat). SO I hold the phone in front of the Air cond. vent for a bit and it cools enough to continue working.

Hey Stephanie, I have a youtube channel for fishing and also use my phone to record. They have fans that are made to help cool your phone down it clips on kind of like you tripod does so it's not the easiest solution. They also have little umbrellas for if you're in full sun with them. I use both especially if I am fishing a tournament and have to be live on UA-cam the whole time. Hope this helps ya out. Baby goats are not used to the heat, if they are breathing hard they need to be brought in to a cool place.

I believe that is called the fascia, it not the shingles. Shingles go on the roof, and the siding and brick are next on the outside of the house. 😊😊
