Yay, it has a Ta flap. I think a lot of people thought it didn't have one. It's a pretty palette but a pass from me 😊 i love my Nars soft matte pot concealer to cover acne and i use it to shape my brows and to clean up my eyeshadow wings.

Warm it up with your fingers apply to face and then blend with brush. Potted concealers are okay you just have to know how to work with them. They are naturally thicker. The palette is really pretty I want to try both. Thanks for the review
I agree with you on the Tarte concealer, Rebecca! I was thinking I'd hate it too after seeing all the bad reviews on QVC... But you know what it's like?... Forgive the awful example I'm about to give... but it's almost like someone reviewing a wheelchair that can walk just fine on their own!! If you don't have severe dark circles, you shouldn't get such a full coverage concealer and then complain about it! I just left a good review on QVC for it. I'd honestly give this 4 out of 5 stars. I got the "light" shade, and although it's not perfect, I think it's pretty darn good. The reason I gave it a chance in the first place, is that Tarte makes the best color corrector on the market for dark circles (their "CC clay" one). So they really DO know what they are doing when it comes to the kind of concealers you need in order to cover the "dark pits of despair," as you said. LOL I really like the brush too and don't care if it's a knock-off, because honestly, I barely paid ANYTHING for mine in this set! In fact, I got a great deal on this set thru QVC. So I def. recommend it!
YES! Exactly, yes! SO SO TRUE. I'm like, "Well, if you scoop it out of the container a slather it on your face, it's gonna crease...." I hate to say that but it's true. I'd say this is a specialized product but it DOES work. And it really MOVES with the skin, you know, especially as it warms up. I'm impressed for sure. I'm glad you left a good review. Yes, the reviews there had me scared and considering NOT to review as I don't tend to lambast products for views. But I'm SO glad that I tried it.

I HAD to share how RIDICULOUS that lawnmower was especially when you realize that their grass doesn't grow well so it's mostly dirt AND the "lawn" is so small to begin with. The guy probably just lets the mower run so he can collect a check. haha.

by any chance, have you tried the pure white version of the concealer? i’ve been looking for a white concealer on the heavier/oilier side and came across this concealer. i got interested in it because the ingredients don’t list water at all, but oil and glycerin as the main ingredients. i like to mix white with my other concealers (bc im extremely pale) but all of the ones i’ve found so far had a too dry and patchy consistancy.
How INTERESTING. I didn't even realize that they had an all white version. I know Wayne Goss did an all white version of his foundation/concealer cream in a pot. Did you see that one? I wonder if that one would work. The price isn't too crazy either.

I’m always drawn to face palettes, but I’ve learned I never actually use them. I think it’s because I have to store them separately from my other blushes/bronzers, etc. due to drawer size so they just don’t get used. This one is pretty and would be great for travel (but, yes, why no highlighter??) I liked the eye looks you created a lot! They were both very pretty. THANK YOU! This is natural REALLY WAVY and then....on the top front, which goes straight in order to drive me nuts, I use either a curling wand or the dyson. THIS is that really narrow thin ghd wand. The super long like half inch one. I just get the few that are lying straight and barely hold it on the iron so they don't go TOO curly as the barrel is SO narrow. And my hair doesn't like to hold a curl so they fall and end up matching the wavy underneath....OR they look like Shirley Temple and embarrass me. Ya never know what you're gonna get when it's my hair. haha.
Did the concealer emphasize texture and lines or settle in lines badly? I have really dry undereyes and usually hate pot concealer because its soo drying but i really want to try this one. Actually i just really want to find my perfect concealer😊
Two suggestions. One inexpensive one expensive. Expensive is the Chanel Sublimage concealer. The darn thing is 90 bucks but it will change your life if you have dry under eyes. The inexpensive one, believe it or not, is the new Fenty or the Natasha Denona that’s more of the mid priced version.
Tarte gets a bad rap…I bought the concealer too and agree it’s great if you use a very small amount, it covers anything beautifully! If this were in Nars packaging people would love it. 😊
Kelly, YES, exactly, YES. It's Tarte so everyone is rolling their eyes but they DO know complexion and their color correctors are very very good. This is just kind of a specialized product really. But if this were Gucci or Nars, it would be the talk of the town. So true.
I have seen Angie Hot & Flashy apply concealer with a doe-foot from the tube and then use that kitten paw brush just to blend. So maybe they are thinking that you will apply that concealer with fingers and then just blend with the brush? Tarte would have to have released something that a lot of other people were just ga-ga about for me to be tempted to buy anything else from them though.
Ok. I tried it. Ya gotta make sure, as with the brush, that not too much is on your finger. Then let it sit for a moment. Then tap. But it needs either a moment to warm or the brush and then it works beautifully. Again, as long as there is VERY minimal product 🥰
I'm on the fence with this one. Maybe because I haven't finished my coffee. Tbh I've found the concealers I am committed to. I'd rey a different concealer but I'm good with the ones I have. It's a pretty palette for sure. I like that it's a face palette. I haven't gotten around to trying their creams. I adore their power blushes. They added a bunch of new shades to the powder line. I'm glad Tarte is trying to improve their range. It's about damn time!
I am ALWAYS so torn with Tarte, as you know. I can't help but love them and I do appreciate their innovation plus, I'm obviously a fan, as I try to review as many of their products as I can. That being said....there's too much released. It's mind boggling and impossible to keep up with. and now THAT being said, these are good releases for what they are. But the concealer...it's fussy. It works but...fussy. And the face palette...needs a highlighter.

I also find that pot concealers are not my preference anymore - even my beloved glossier stretch - ever since the introduction of my new love Tower 28. The shadows are a very pretty color story.
