- I love movies and one of my hobbies is Digital Movie Collecting. I have been collecting digital media for the past 3+ years. In the video i showcase some of my favorite movies in my collection.
Comment down below on what some of your favorite movies are, whether they are similar to my list, and whether you collect digital movies as well.
Finally someone that talks about VUDU and digital movies great collection and movie taste 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks appreciate watching/ comment!
Awesome video, ive recently discarded my physical collection over 700+ titles and decided to go straight to digital and VUDU has become such a great tool.
Nice collection bro.. been using vudu since about 2012… up to 3,600 now.. long live VUDU lol 🙌🏽
Nice collection! It’s addicting
Nice..I just hit 1k digital movies myself and I thought I was doing something lol..I feel you on the “completing the collection” mindset .. Same here
1K is a big milestone! digital movie collecting can get addicting!
I have more than 5k. I just love movies. I always prefer movies over web series
Nice setup and collection. Some of my favorite movies are Man On Fire, Training Day & all of the john Wick titles. I do digital I have a emby media server for all my audio demos and 4k bluray rips.
Thanks appreciate it. Man on Fire is one of Denzels best along with Training day. Good choices. That’s a nice movie set up you run.
Nice collection. I have quite a bit of physical copy movies with no digital codes. So I’m bummed about that. But I do wanna start collecting movies digitally on Vudu since digitally is the way to go now a day’s.
Vudu has an option to scan the barcode on your physical movies and it will charge $2 to convert to digital. Not all movies can convert (No Disney movies) but you can give it a try. If using iPhone you have to go to Vudu website and click on Disc to Digital to use the conversion service. On Android use Vudu app that can scan using your phone.
Digital is the way to go man. I have around 5k collection to my name.. Movies rock.
Was Vudu part of Walmart?, many nice perks to Walmart customers in the past.
Is the Digital HD copy of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) has the 20th Century-Fox logo and fanfare?
Will you make an updated collection video?
Yes I plan to.
Cool
Do u download ur digital movies on a hard drive since they can remove ur movies anytime?
At first i would download some but i no longer do it. So far i havent had any removed but i am aware that its possible it can happen if the studio decides to.
Does Vudu have a shuffle feature?
There is no shuffle feature but it does let you set up lists in folders like for favorite movies or horror movies, etc
Keep on collecting..I am also a movie collector. By the way how much have u spent on your collection?
honestly I have no idea! 😂 some I bought on iTunes, some on Vudu, redeemed bluray codes
can you redeem any digital code on vudu or no? most say movies anywhere code
Good question! Any movies anywhere code can be redeemed in Vudu using the same exact code. It’s strange that the slip doesn’t mention it but YES you can.
I am also a big movie guy.I just love movies.. How many movies do u watch in a day?
It depends. If I have time, I watch a movie or I watch a show since it’s shorter instead per day. On the weekends I watch more movies! How about you?
@@richieace5492 I watch on average three movies a day when I am watching
@@DebarshiKalyanDutta-w4v nice! 👍🏼
I use plex.. My collection is around 5k.
nice, man. do you have your movies on a portable hard drive?
Did 28 days later disappear from your collection? Since you can no longer purchase it on the site.
Do an vudu Movie collection update
so like sky store in the uk?
Yeah similar to sky store. Vudu let’s you buy and watch movies
@@richieace5492 you can buy and keep movies on sky and they also when typed still send physical copies of most films
@@paulrose319 that’s pretty sweet you also get physical copies.
i hope u have hacksaw ridge on ur collection
Yes 👍🏼 great movie!
You’re not aloud to call this a movie collection without the godfather part 1 and 2
🤣 I need to make a new video!
Bad ass
Thanks appreciate it 😎👍🏼
Do u know of a way to upgrade from HDX to UHD of a movie u already own without having to pay full price for UHD?
the best way is by purchasing digital codes. depending on how old/new the movie is UHD codes are reasonably priced. There is facebook groups that sell digital codes
@@richieace5492 But we have to be careful who we deal with online because there are so many scammers out there to steal our hard-earned money.
@@wturner777 yes that’s true! if buying digital codes make sure the person has an account with selling history on it from whatever group you join.
A good option is to wait for sales. Every Tuesday there is movies that go on sale and if they have UHD available you can rebuy it at a sale price
Vudu has a disc to digital feature
Once Vudu loses rights to these films you lose your movie. How fuckkgn dare they wormhole their way into my phones data hardrive to take data away that I paid for! Not legal!
That’s true but so far no movies lost. Even movies that have been removed from store are still in my collection. For example I still own true lies
I actually have lost vudu movies and tv shows in the past. They changed their company like 8 years ago and they sent me an email telling me that I had to claim certain movies and tv shows or I would risk losing them. I forgot to do it so I lost certain ones. Basically you're investing in a 20 year long collection because either the company's is going to change or movies are going to get 8k or 16k versions in the future. For an example most people aren't using their old dvds anymore because they're outdated and no longer look good. Movies are basically something that you're constantly updating. I'm crossing my fingers that a company will automatically update your movies in the future because you shouldn't have to pay more money to view higher quality digital movies. As soon as a company does that I'm leaving vudu.
it would be so cool if it was a physical one
I still have my physical collection as well but I haven’t bought physical in a while I got addicted to digital collecting
@@richieace5492 i still collect physical but for digital i do piracy 🥲 i am not guilty of it anyway
@@richieace5492 but thats for sure that it physical takes a lot of room
@@arjit5923 I used to have a hardrive 😎😄
@@richieace5492 I have the Blu-ray/Digital Code Multi-Screen Edition release of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983).
Digital Movies are not yours they can pull them at any time
Digital Movies are not worth anything in the long run stick with buying dvds
That is true that Movie Studios can decide to pull a movie from digital retailers like iTunes or Vudu. But this type of thing would be because the Movie Studio sold the movie to another studio or went bankrupt. Chances are new studio will release it again. But yeah it doesn’t happen too often, hopefully. I still have all my movies and been collecting for 6+years. However I also still have Blu-ray’s and collectors sets I will always keep! 😎
