hey. I really like your content, but dont put zanders (or any fish) on snow please. unlike pikes, zanders are sensitive in the winter. even regular catch and release is more stressful to them in the winter and more die that way than in summer times.
@@ManAndRod For pike, releasing them in cold water and cold weather is much better, while zander have a higher release mortality rate in winter and a much lower rate in summer when it is warm
@@ManAndRod all good. by the way since fish are poikilothermic their cells will also freeze way way quicker than a mammals on snow. when its really cold its best to unhook the fish in the net in the water. also pikes are really sensitive in the summer when the water temperature is around 25 degrees celsius and higher. when the water is really warm especially big pike die super easy due to the stress of being caught.
