This is at least the second video to memory, you guys have just lightly brushed over atrocities, committed by communism, the Ukrainian famine as the as you called it was a targeted attack on the country of Ukraine by Stalin, so that they would not be strong enough to want to seek independence if you wanna agree with me or not communism and socialism has constantly caused millions upon millions of deaths and failed every time it’s ever been tried
By lightly brushing it over and painting it, not in the dark light that caused it you do a disservice to the Ukrainian people and people of the world that glamorize communism

Interesting/disturbing topic about infamous serial killers
Going with the obvious. Ted Bundy was an intelligent, educated, handsome man who could blend in with society. This is the scariest thing about him.
"I hope I die half as bravely as the people who perished at my hands"
That's weirdly profound, yet chilling.
Sounds like he said hes a punk
Sicko
It’s the least he could do.
His hands could’ve killed him “bravely” or was he paralyzed ?
Omg.... So twisted
I was approached by Gacy in May 1978. He offered to give me a ride home to get my spare set of keys when I was locked out of my new pickup. He seemed very anxious to help me. I figured he was gay but not a killer. Six months later I saw his photo in the newspaper.
God was definitely with you ❤
You beat the odds
Did you take the ride?
33 murders with only 50 encounters, I doubt this is accurate
@chasecollier4665 were you Gacy's side kick or something...
I get so ANGRY at criminals blaming their hard childhood for becoming what they are. I was abused at home for 15+ years, I was bullied at school all 12 years. Not ONCE have I ever thought of killing anyone, let alone a perfect stranger who did nothing to me. 😠
Not every person is gonna react the same. When you have a childhood like that most people want to watch the world burn.
@@gabrielkawa3477 Unless the person also has reduced mental capabilities, we still know right from wrong. Bad childhoods & most, not all, temporary insanity pleas make me sick.
most of the time its a sexual kick. weird or kinky fetishes
You have no knowledge of the damage done by child abuse do you? It affects people differently and just because you did ok doesnt mean everyone else has.
@@paranoidewok6772 I have plenty of first-hand knowledge, ass. And I stand by what I said. Unless they have some sort of brain damage from the abuse, and/or have other mental disabilities, you still know right from wrong & make a conscious decision.
The one thing I find creepiest about these serial killers is how nonchalantly they talk about death. It’s like their talking about things that are normal to them, but to people like us is macabre.
Yeah thats why they where in that field of work
That’s the thing though, it IS normal to them, about as normal as anything can be for someone who has zero empathy and views humans as just another object. Most of these killers are anti-social and narcissistic, they aren’t wired the same as the rest of us.
Death becomes normal eventually when you've been abused in all forms and everyone around you has died either from physical abuse or drug abuse.
Dead is a normal thing ...wtf are weong with you ...
It's all they talk about and get questioned on for decades sometimes, and theses interviews are at the end of their lives, so by that stage it has become more matter of fact in the way they tell it. Also they're psycho's.
I sincerely feel bad for the victims of these people
May they rest in peace ❤
And my heart goes out to their families
Peace ?? what peace. They are dead. their minds are turned off and there was no peace while being mutilated. Please, please stop with the RIP nonsense. There is no peace. They all died horribly, painful, scared, terrified deaths. There is no peace. They, like their killers just do not exist anymore. No peace. No rest. They should be alive but they are not.
I also feel bad for some of the family members of the killers not as much as the victims and there family but people forget they are victims to and having a fucked up childhood or really bad head injures is probally a huge factor but there are for sure other factors
I feel bad for the criminals. Imagine doing good things while saving the planet from humans and all the sudden a death penalty.
@@oakcode LOL
"I'm not like that now " Yes you are. They ALL are. They're just in prison where there's no victims. Given the chance they'd kill even in prison.
Well said.
A terrible childhood is not a pass to destroy others lives. They're exactly where they belong or just about.
So ignore one of the roots causes of these monsters is what you're saying
Yeah, but knowing the roots let's us understand how they do it.
Where do they get apathy?
despite these killers had a traumatic childhood, you shouldn't spend your whole life martyring, life choices
No one is saying it's a pass. Derp. It is still important to understand this in analyzing why some people are they way they are.
I wouldn’t call myself a proponent of capital punishment, but I still lose absolutely no sleep over any of these people not being around anymore.
You used the word proponent wrong. As it's written here, it sounds like you're saying you're some serial killer too that deserves the death penalty. Which you do. Bad grammar tsk tsk.
@@delsi3795A fools mouth is his folly. How did you get the one like? Yourself?
@nyeahgarner2420 check again mr nonsense
I think capitol punishment is the easy way out. 23 hour a day lockdown for life is way worse

The amount of serial killers who have seemingly been formed by head injuries is staggering. A lot of them claim that they changed into killers after these injuries.
*"Can you tell me what's a good way to die?"*
Uhhh not at the hands of a serial killer, ya lunatic. Really tried to make it seem as if it was a smart question.
A good way to die is in your sleep with your family and loved ones surrounding you at least.
That's more depressing that's like saying that's a good way to get graped
The guy at the start who said. "" I'm just a loveable guy now"" gave me chills.🙏

💯
I live in the town he killed in and my dad was in Osborn with him. Apparently he got his ass whooped a lot and had to be put in Ad Seg after a while but he was great at chess and yes apparently very nice. Only thing is his victims ranged between 14-21 years old and he s.a them before strangling them. So the prisoners didn’t like that, nor did they like that he was in gen pop in general when he was a serial killer. The girl he was describing is named Wendy and I drive past where she died and was found she was the reason he was caught but he had killed two girls at the same time as well and they were his youngest victims another was a girl named robin that was found near the now closed state hospital. His first and only victim in New York was a college student I can’t remember how to spell her name but she was an exchange student
@@daziasantos615 wow you guys have some crazy serial killers. I am in Scotland where we have only had a few that have killed maybe 2 victims. But no where near these guys.👍
@@MrG77 yeah there was like a boom in the 70s and now it’s just kinda a thing but tbh it’s not as frequent as you’d think a lot of guys are still just not caught
It's not surprising that the killers make the interview about them for the most part, because it takes a real narcissist to not value the lives of others.
One thing murderers all have in common is selfishness. They think that fulfilling their desire to kill is more important than that person's desire to stay alive. Murderers are bad people.
"Murderers are bad people." What a profound statement
What an obvious statement
The only thing I understand about childhood abuse is that it causes depression, pain, bitterness, etc but not murder and so shouldn't make someone to kill. There is no excuse for evil.
What's absolutely terrifying is how charming these killers seem in interviews. Most of them seem like great guys to have a beer with.
I've even heard of interviewers visiting them in prison, becoming very good friends with them, and actually looking forward to future visits with them.
Of course, they ARE evil, and there ARE times when the mask comes off. One detective was accidently left alone with Ed Kemper, who is 6 feet 8 inches tall. Since the detective was in prison, he of course had to check his service weapon upon entry, so he was unarmed.
Realizing this, the detective pressed the alarm button under the table, and was anxiously waiting for the guard to arrive. While he was waiting, Kemper said to him "You know, if I went apeshit in here, you'd be in a lot of trouble, wouldn't you. I could unscrew your head, place it on this table, and have you looking at the guard when he comes in here". When the guard FINALLY arrived, Kemper smiled and said "I was just joking."

What's most unnerving to me is that nearly 50% of serial killers have the middle name Wayne, Lee or Ray
Uh oh -- my middle name is Ray. But good chance I'm okay.
Maybe cuz those are also statistically common middle names....
My middle name is Lee 😮
the fact they use all three names is kinda weird too
Comes in handy at our yearly Reunions
The scariest thing about most serial killers is that they legitimately come off as normal and kind people for the most part. Like they dont seem very odd. Its scary because youd never know until its too late
Yeah it’s usually the ones that come off strange and weird that are usually harmless and the ones that come off completely sane and normal that are hiding lol.
It's creepy some of them stay in denial before their death. That's scary because they're not remorseful
It’s normal if you deny something for longtime and lie to everyone about that you will believe your lie and the truth will become hard to remember 😅
Some are remorseful
Imagine how much of such ppl still walk around. And live next door to you
Gacy spent his entire life refusing responsibility for anything he did and taking no accountability. Of course he still pled innocent…
Also, just before he was executed he said "killing menisnt going to bring back those boys" 🙄
The thing is, everyone who knew Bobby Joe Long all said that he was fine before he got a head injury. It was only after that point did he change and his crimes began.
Head injuries are actually thought to be factors in why people commit crimes. John Wayne Gacy and Fred West both suffered head injuries. Although, of course not every single person with a head injury is gonna end up becoming a serial killer
Were there any head injuries found in his autopsy?
I once read that they surveyed thousands of prisoners about their history of head injury and found that 95 percent of prisoners who were there for a violent crime reported a head injury in childhood.
@@sorrywrongplanet8873 Considering how the frontal lobe manages emotions as well as rational thought I'm not surprised.

The FBI theorizes that there are roughly 35 active serial killers in the US at any given time. I think theres probably more like 100.
@@Dead_Again1313
Most definitely it's a whole lot out there
Stay on point
Ted Bundy's level of charisma was terrifying in itself, similar to Peter Sutcliffe, they seem like genuinely normal people when they're being interviewed. Growing up in northern England I'd always hear stories about how a lot of women refused to be out after certain times.. due to the fear of the Yorkshire Ripper
Well if you’re unpopular and unliked you’re not going to get far as a serial killer
However, there were women that Bundy approached (while wearing the cast) who turned him down. They later said that Bundy gave them the creeps. Clearly, he did not charm everyone.
I think Bundy comes off as a total slime-ball, like a used car salesman. BUT Ed Kemper (and to some extent Dahmer) I find to be disturbingly affable.
That superficial charm is a classic feature of the psychopath.
@@bloojerseyy, I agree with you . Ted Bundy never was for me an that handsome guy
Not a serial killer but Any interview with Chris Benoit is so weird, because any time I see him he’s so polite, well spoken, and somewhat kind.
I believe he had a head injury that affected his behaviour

That is literally the number one trait in most psychopaths.
Bobby Joe Long’s stare gave me the creeps.
I agree. Mother married six times. Alcoholic. I’ve seen things at a young age that I should not. Never used it s an excuse. It was a great example of what….not to do. Blame it for killing? What I suppose the more upset you are the more I should understand how severe you are? I agree it certainly starts them off on the bad path but it’s an excuse like so many people make today for failing.
RIP to all the innocent victims
The fact is that it gets easier for every crime when they get away, is scary!

He was not a serial killer, but I found the interview that Ed Bradley had with Timothy McVeigh to be quite chilling. Not only did the guy come across as quite normal, but he also came across as very rational. Even if you did not agree with his position, he presented himself in a way that you could kind of see where he was coming from.

And THAT is what makes it terrifying, really.

That's exactly what a psychopath is looking for-that kind of viewpoint.
The only difference between serial killers and mass murderers is speed.
@@peaceworld5393I assume they're talking about Timothy McVeigh
What I don’t like about these interviews is that even though the evidence is overwhelming, they still claim innocence! And that they play the victim! 😤
The problem is there that there have been people who were convicted with “an overwhelming amount of evidence” who were still later found to have been innocent. If they never straight up admit to the crime its always going to be questionable for some people. We have also convicted people as guilty on minimal evidence and found they were innocent later. It’s the biggest reason I am anti-death penalty.
Not dahmer tho
Heaps of people have been executed or imprisoned because they've been framed by scumbag cops that's why im against the death penalty
Narcissistic personality disorder. Everyone’s fault but mine. Mental gymnastics they have to jump through instead of self reflection. Wesley Allen Dodd and Dahmer are the few who wanted to be k!lled for what they have done.
"a troubled childhood" IS NOT an excuse!!!!

*Nice documentary*
Why does it take decades to put these clowns in the dirt after convictions?
Because the lawyers , judges and other law professionals make an absolute motza out of all the appeals etc.
Because liberals love the criminals and don't care about victims.
John wayne gacy was litarally a clown
Because of appeals. It’s actually a lot cheaper to off the death penalty.
It's inexcusable regardless of your childhood but I also understand it plays a role
I agree
At any given point and time, you literally have thousands of these individuals working the country, I've personally known at least two of them and had a roommate in the late 70's, who was hitchhiking and was taken and raped by a guy by the name of William Bonin, who would go on to be the initial individual executed by lethal injection in the state of California. He told me before this guy was even arrested who was known as the Freeway killer. In Orange County, California they had two individuals working the freeways killing hitchhikers, this was the main reason for starting the public bus system because of the killings in the area.
They keep these losers alive way too long!!!

Cmon MOJO! Where are the post execution interviews?
FYI, James Dobson is not a psychologist. He's a minister. And Bundy played him like a fiddle.
Exactly. His whole "porn made me bad 😢" shtick was nothing more than a desperate attempt to save face before his death. The police that raided his home said his porno collection was actually really mild and more like a Victoria's Secret catalog than nudity. He was more into erotic pulp fiction novel covers where women were tied up and in distress. He was not into "hardcore" adult films whatsoever. Millions of people consume porn every day and live normal lives. He was just a violent little freak. And James Dobson is a dumbass bigot who really thought you could take a serial killer at his word.
Dobson is/was a child psychologist who authored several books on raising children. He was a practicing psychologist before starting a ministry dedicated to helping families. He was in ministry but was not an ordained pastor/minister.
Maybe he was played like a fiddle, or maybe he acted like it to keep him talking?
They played each other and they both had an agenda, in my opinion. Dobson was on a crusade against pornography and wanted and got Ted to blame his horrifically deviant behavior on porn. Ted was more than happy to oblige.

Eileen Wuornos had the most frightening eyes I have ever seen.

I wish I could remember the name of the book, but it was more than 20 years ago, and I'm old now. A young man on a Canadian documentary film crew, wrote a book about serial killers because he bumped into two serial killers in his every day life. One of them being this dude, before he was caught. He was unusual because he didn't have a certain type of victim, he killed men, women and children.

Why does the start of the Bobby Joe Long clip sound like Steve-O relivin one of his stunts 😂
Bundy is the most unnerving. His chamelon transformations with minimal effort, weight gain, weight loss, hair parting, hiker, grad student, and Mr Dreamboat. Generic VW, charm ( major psychopath trait). In SLC there was a bookstore that had an entire table devoted to Ted. The Carol DeRonch close call confirmed parts of the M.O. that led ultimately to his capture. Utterly chilling.

All of these people would have shown behaviours that were alarm bells for serious mental issues prior to committing any crime. Can you imagine if they had been put in secure facilities when it first occurred rather than after all the killings.
Authorities in the police and government could have prevented every single loss of life.

Last Meals and Interviews are always the bizarre
I feel sorry for Eileen Wuornos because of all the abuse she went through in her life, it doesn't seem like she had any good role models around here just criminals and abusers and it warped her mind. I realize that other people have been through the same and not killed anyone, but it isn't a very good life she had.
Her environment destroyed her
Yes, I do to. She was systematically abused from the time l she entered this world. She was shaped by abused. I wish her abusers were also prosecuted.

June 27 was the day I was born, same year too. Damn that's creepy
4:00 I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY TO KEEP SUCH MONSTER IN JAIL AS HE ALREADY HAD DEATH SENTENCE IT SHOULDN'T TAKE MORE THAN A MONTH AFTER THE SENTENCE!!!
There are many reasons. There are a few people who were on death row who have since been exonerated...damn few, but it has happened. There are those who are certainly guilty, but can help identify their victims, locate bodies, or close unsolved murders, like Ted Bundy, Sam Little, and Tommy Lynn Sells. Some are studied by crime professionals for clues on how to identify other killers (remember Starling meeting with Hannibal Lecter to get his take on Buffalo Bill? It does occasionally happen in real life), or by psychiatrists seeking insight on how to identify people inclined to commit heinous crimes. Race is also a factor; while all those discussed here certainly warrant the death penalty, capital punishment is applied unequally to people of color, who can't afford high quality attorneys who would get them a prison sentence rather than death.
Honestly, I no longer believe in the death penalty, although some certainly deserve it. The truth is, with our system, capital punishment is hugely expensive. It requires two separate trials, one to determine guilt or innocence, and a second to determine if the death penalty should be applied. Each uses a separate team of attorneys. Appeals can go one for years, two decades isn't an uncommon time between sentencing and execution, and multiple teams of attorneys are billing for the duration. It's estimated that the cost of each execution exceeds the cost of keeping a prisoner inside for 25 years!
The high profile of capital cases keeps the killer in the limelight for years, forcing victims' families to endure fresh pain periodically. I'd rather see these devils locked up for life without possibility of parole, and with no access to media interviews. Let them rot and be forgotten.
The number of people who use religion to justify their nonsense and evil is staggering
Well. God is the cause for millions of deaths. Murders. Didn't that demon drown everyone on earth but let an old man build a boat from trees (lol people believe that is staggering). Men, women, children, fetuses, puppies, kittens, etc. All drowned horrible deaths from a demon they all worshiped. I'm an EMT. Ever see a drowned child. I have. Why anyone would worship a demon that drowned everyone on earth is beyond me. Not me. I'm an atheist. I live free.
It's been used for justification for incredible atrocities throughout history and all over the world!
