After watching this video, I went and smelled mars smile please and swiss beauty bare. Actually, I have both. It does not smell bad at all . In fact, it does not have any fragrance at all. When you apply on lips, you don't feel such a strong smell as she is explaining. I found the video very misleading.
True, swiss beauty doesn't smell bad , it's almost fragrance less.

Thank you so much for the honest reviews on these lipsticks. I heard so much about Mars and Swiss beauty crayons that I was thinking of buying them… but if they have such a strong smell.. it’s not worth it.
For Nyx Beijing shade, use a darker lip liner and then apply the lipstick. Blend the two slightly near the lip line. It might help using up the lipstick.
That’s the plan :) I’ll make use of it by mixing with other shades and lip liners

from both mars and swiss beauty but they don’t have any fragrance.
Swiss beauty and Mars are both made in China (Country of Origin: China) perhaps in labs that offer really low cost production sp. in case of their lipsticks hence quality is not great. I am not sure why people call them Indian brands, they are not. It is not okay to use makeup products that have a waxy smell.
No,Swiss beauty is and Indian brand,born and brought up in Maharashtra in 2013. Google it.

Rather than telling the cons of any brand, i think beauty blogger and vloggers should write it or post their videos to these companies, specially those who are interested in the customer reviews and anre willing to improve. I personally recommend you to write swiss beauty and mars reviews to the company. Being an indian brand i think we should tell them where they are lagging. If indian audiences are not telling them what they want , indian cosmetics cannot make their global impact. I write reviews to them personally whatever i feel. Be it appreciation or criticism. I fulfil my duty but beauty bloggers know in detail than rhe commoners. So their reviews also matter.

Do lipsticks also oxidise…. Bcz i have some nude lipsticks on applying they are proper nude but after sometime they somehow become dark or pinkish… so i am not able to understand do they oxidise or colour change because of my lip colour/pigmentation
No they dont oxidise. Fix them by applying a lipliner and create a new colour
Hey Sughandha, lipsticks don’t oxidise however every nude lipstick has a base colour/undertone to it. In case of Nude lipsticks, a lot of them have a pink-ish undertone and once they dry up the base colour peeks through. Unfortunately, there are very few lipsticks which are true Nude.
Hi Shivangi....I have been using swiss beauty bare for last few months. But to my surprise neither color is same nor the waxy smell which you are talking about. It's bit scary...we are buying from online e-commerce reputed stores and are they cheating on us. 😮

She is correct about the smell. I have experienced the same really bad strong smell with Mars and Swiss Beauty Crayons. Some people also mentioned it here. It looks like the batches are not consistent.
