Minecraft: Create Trains - A Very Long Train Journey

- A journey between the two furthest stations on my network, spanning over three separate lines and through ten stations.
The first few stations are unfinished, since the Green Line is still under construction and only partially opened.
Apologies for the occasional lag spike, there's a lot of mods on this server!
The train front gives both class 323 and nederlandse spoorwegen sprinter vibes , aswell as the blue and white striking imagery like the British rail blue and light grey
Bingo! It’s actually partially inspired by the Class 323, along with the older BR livery.

immersive railroading and minecraft transit railways are nice and all, but nothing gets me excited like getting to build the trains and yards and signals myself
@xymaryai8283 the reason why I prefer IR over create and MTR is because of the tracks.. lots of texture packs, there are so many variations. In addition to that, IR has some pretty good mods, Voxel Trains to be exact.

I went to Europe for the first time this summer and the rail system really took me by surprise. We landed in brussels and I was wondering when we were gonna call a cab or get bus tickets, but we just kept taking trains all the way from Brussels to Lille straight from the central station. It seemed like every town had a train station no matter how small. It felt alot more "free" than any freeway I'd ever been on. It's safe to say I've been kinda obsessed with passenger rail since then.
This vide reminds me of some nostalgic video of old minecraft video mod showcasing a train mod too, damn that was more than 10 years ago
I would love it if you could make a survival series out of this world. A showcase intro video where you go to each stop and show around the builds and farms in the area would be amazing as well. Keep up the good work!

Pretty cool! Btw no flex but i was so addicted to this mod i made a railway network so huge it takes 11 hours to go through the whole thing(no joke) just came on yt to see other ppl making long journeys. Ur surprisingly underrated u deserve more subs keep up the good work

This is cool and simple not like mine that takes 2 months to make because it's the whole Japanese railway line, and also it's giving me the British railway roblox vibes
I tried building a create mod Shinkansen once using Create: Copycats+ for the additional copycat blocks and slope blocks. While I never really finished it, I thought it was pretty cool that you can now recreate real life trains in Minecraft down to their real life function and design.
I also built a train inspired by the Yamanote line trains in Tokyo and that one was a bit more complete, but only with two stations connected by a floating rail track, lol
I'm curious, how did you get the display to show time information like that display shown at 2:34, telling you about what time you would reach your destinations>
@@SpringySpring04 it’s from a mod called Create Railways Navigator! It adds advanced display boards that work on trains!
Not lomg enough when this mod was released i got addicted I made a 40 GB file out of it .
It's way too big thar my PC ain't loving it.
@@arghyaprotimhalder5592 wow, 40GB is pretty impressive, 5.7GB is my all time record, previous biggest world was probably less than 200MB

What mod did you use for the billboard at 2:09?
It’s a mod called Immersive Paintings. It allows you to add your own pictures as paintings into the game. I used it for railway signage.

By the way, how long did it take you to create the lines you showcased? Or are they still being built?
The first line (Blue Line) was finished within about a month, and had an extension completed recently. The Purple Line took about two months to build, and is currently the longest active line. The Green Line is still being constructed, and will be a loop going around the map, stopping at villages and other locations of interest.

Hey! I see you can use the create mod pretty well, especially with trains. Would you be interested in a creative modded Minecraft server? I know it's a lot of words but we use a lot of the create mods like trains. Right now there are about 4 of us so pretty small. If you want it let me know, if not that's ok.

since, to me at last, are but to sharp

There is one segment where the two lines converge where the turn is way too sharp. As for the rest, they’re as wide as the default turns can go.

Hey ! Do you use any mods for world generation or is it all base minecraft ? I use Terralith myself but maybe it's not fitted for a train line with the (many) mountainous biomes it adds. Great video by the way, I really enjoyed the ride.
@@nitroxdriverfrance7598 Nope! Only additional generated structures, but nothing to change worldgen.

How did you make the train ? (Which mods did you use for it)
Just wondering what did you use to make the signs? (not the mod, the software that you used)

What other mods did you use besides Create?
@@HungarianGopnik Steam and Rails + Create Railways Navigator are the main extra mods used here, along with Immersive Paintings and Create: Things and Misc.
The pack is over 100+ mods, but those are the main ones off the top of my head.

Right-click the display with the wrench, then set the first selection to 'Train Destination' and the second selection to 'Detailed'.

How did you make the train go backwards? When i tried it, i couldn't do it.
@@petretenieshvili8762 the train is bi-directional. It has two sets of controls facing forward and backward, each with a driver.
@@AshmanTheGuy So do you have mobs there with identical train schedules or is it player-driven? Because I tried to do this sort of end station too and my train just didn't go backwards.
@@starzzy_live I normally throw the schedule on top of the train station block, with sends a copy to both drivers and starts the schedule automatically.
Nice! But how did you add those item frames to the train though? Is there some kind of mod for it?
@@toonymoony16 Item frames? If you mean the moving text boards, those are displays from Create Railways Navigator.
@AshmanTheGuy I mean the headlights of the train, they kinda look like item frames but I'm not quite sure

um... i have a question how do you see the railways display board even if you are using a shaders i have one that you use but its bugged
@@MartUrbaTraincraft I have a mod called Oculus Flywheel Compat, which makes it so Create contraptions don’t lag horribly when using shaders. Maybe that mod might help? Otherwise I don’t really know.

@@dustojnikhummer it’s from the Create Railways Navigator mod. It pulls from the train’s onboard schedule to display next stops and approx arrival times.

@@maxwellthehedgehog6273 Create Trains always do. They’re generally supposed to be steam engines, and there’s no way to disable that sound as far as I’m aware.
Hey have you checked out the Minecraft Transit Railway mod?
@@DylanJava I have. It’s a cool mod, but it’s a bit too realistic for me. I personally feel it doesn’t fit the aesthetic of Minecraft as well as Create does.
