Enjoy Part 8 of our 8500 kilometer off-road trip from Greece to the Caucasus in Georgia and back. At the End of Mai 2022 we loaded the 2 Yamaha Tenere 700 in a van and drove from Potsdam (Germany) 2200 kilometer to Alexandropoli in Greece, where we stored the van and started our epic motorcycle adventure. Our goal was to ride the entire TET Turkey and two new sections that has never done before. A 4500 kilometer stretch and a big challenge on loaded Tenere 700s.
Part 8 shows you the days 28 to 34 of the trip and some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Turkey:
We made our way from the border of Georgia into the Pontic Alps, were we tried to fullfil our goal to ride 100% of the Trans Euro Trail Turkey. On our way to Georgia the high mountains in Turkey were still blocked by snow. But on the way back to Greece was a bigger chance that the trails in the Kackar mountains and the area aroud the famous D915 will be accesable. So let's see...

İlham veren macera videolarınızı izledikten sonra. Pakistan'dan Azerbaycan'a bisikletle gitme, yerel manzaralarla yolları kesişme ve zengin kültürü deneyimleme fikri beni büyülüyor. İçimdeki bu maceranın kıvılcımını ateşlediğiniz için teşekkür ederim.

My friend, there is no mountain that we define as Pontic Alps in this geography. This is Türkiye and these mountains are called "Eastern Black Sea Mountains".

Hi Metin. That's what you get when you use Wikipedi as reference: "The Pontic Mountains or Pontic Alps (Turkish: Kuzey Anadolu Dağları, meaning North Anatolian Mountains) form a mountain range in northern Anatolia, Turkey. They are also known as the Parhar Mountains in the local Turkish and Pontic Greek languages." Greetings from Germany, Stefan.

@@BurningFeetAdventures Wikipedia does not always provide accurate information, some people want to impose their personal truth on everyone. There is no region called pontus in Turkey. Very few local people speak Pontic Greek languages like you speak English. No one feels pontus because modern Turkey When it was founded, the Greeks in the region and the Turks in Greece exchanged places. The Pontic language was inherited from those who went to Greece. There are also Greeks who still speak Turkish in Greece. And we can write the place names in Greece in Turkish with our personal feelings on Wikipedia, but we do not. Respect us too. This is Turkey and place names are in Turkish.Greetings from Trabzon/Türkiye ,Metin.

@@metinkarahan_Hi Metin I am proud of you for your nice English and perfect explanation. Wikipedia is managed by zionists and they want to impose their lie information to the world. @burning Feet there is no alps in Türkiye and no Pontic regions in Türkiye pls do relevant search before going to a foreign country especially Turkey where you want us to be uneducated stupid and uncivilized but we are Not! Why do you took some weird trucks and military vehicles? Havent you see nice cars nice bikes or havent you crossed bhosphorus bridge??? ( yet u used the wrong bridge there is the 3rd one with no traffic 😂) Wilipedia now doesnot show palestinian country either FYI!!

17:37 "Istanbul, 130km traffic chaos" Hundred percent true 😀
This episode is so inspring for people like me, those who consider making a route and riding on top of mountains in eastern Black sea region (Crf 250 rally here). I'm trying to make a correct route which includes villages to make a break & get fuel and ride up to highplains again (postponed for a few reasons). Your map views and locations give a tip. Thank you for that 🤝
