Enjoy Part 8 of our 8500 kilometer off-road trip from Greece to the Caucasus in Georgia and back. At the End of Mai 2022 we loaded the 2 Yamaha Tenere 700 in a van and drove from Potsdam (Germany) 2200 kilometer to Alexandropoli in Greece, where we stored the van and started our epic motorcycle adventure. Our goal was to ride the entire TET Turkey and two new sections that has never done before. A 4500 kilometer stretch and a big challenge on loaded Tenere 700s.
Part 8 shows you the days 28 to 34 of the trip and some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Turkey:
We made our way from the border of Georgia into the Pontic Alps, were we tried to fullfil our goal to ride 100% of the Trans Euro Trail Turkey. On our way to Georgia the high mountains in Turkey were still blocked by snow. But on the way back to Greece was a bigger chance that the trails in the Kackar mountains and the area aroud the famous D915 will be accesable. So let's see...

İlham veren macera videolarınızı izledikten sonra. Pakistan'dan Azerbaycan'a bisikletle gitme, yerel manzaralarla yolları kesişme ve zengin kültürü deneyimleme fikri beni büyülüyor.

Thank you.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Danke.
Dankeschön ❤
Harika bir gezi olmuş, tebrik ederim.
DANKE. GRUß, Stefan
Wooow IT's really beautiful nature ! And I really envy you,coz we don't have big nature for riding by motorcycle. Sometimes I watch kind of like your movie on UA-cam.
Anyway thanks for show your movie on UA-cam !! It's really nice ! From Japan
@@user-re3vb1sw8c thanks mate. Greetings from Germany.
Tolle Leistung. Hab mir alle Folgen angesehen und muss sagen, dass ihr hart im Nehmen seid.

Hi, I am addicted to your channel. Your less talking allows us to enjoy and imagine the beautiful places you show us. The calm atmosphere created by your less speaking is appreciated. It feels as though we are travel to those locations alongside you. Thank you for that. 🌿💚😌
Thank's Waruna. I try to create may videos as I would like to watch it ;-) Greetings, Stefan.
What a incredible adventure, and the scenery too, wow 🤯
Great filming and editing sir 🙌
It is not easy to record such elaborated videos when you are riding on challenging paths in hard weather conditions. Thank you for making us to a part of your journey
My friend, there is no mountain that we define as Pontic Alps in this geography. This is Türkiye and these mountains are called "Eastern Black Sea Mountains".
Hi Metin. That's what you get when you use Wikipedi as reference: "The Pontic Mountains or Pontic Alps (Turkish: Kuzey Anadolu Dağları, meaning North Anatolian Mountains) form a mountain range in northern Anatolia, Turkey. They are also known as the Parhar Mountains in the local Turkish and Pontic Greek languages." Greetings from Germany, Stefan.
@@BurningFeetAdventures Wikipedia does not always provide accurate information, some people want to impose their personal truth on everyone. There is no region called pontus in Turkey. Very few local people speak Pontic Greek languages like you speak English. No one feels pontus because modern Turkey When it was founded, the Greeks in the region and the Turks in Greece exchanged places. The Pontic language was inherited from those who went to Greece. There are also Greeks who still speak Turkish in Greece. And we can write the place names in Greece in Turkish with our personal feelings on Wikipedia, but we do not. Respect us too. This is Turkey and place names are in Turkish.Greetings from Trabzon/Türkiye ,Metin.
@@metinkarahan_Hi Metin I am proud of you for your nice English and perfect explanation. Wikipedia is managed by zionists and they want to impose their lie information to the world. @burning Feet there is no alps in Türkiye and no Pontic regions in Türkiye pls do relevant search before going to a foreign country especially Turkey where you want us to be uneducated stupid and uncivilized but we are Not! Why do you took some weird trucks and military vehicles? Havent you see nice cars nice bikes or havent you crossed bhosphorus bridge??? ( yet u used the wrong bridge there is the 3rd one with no traffic 😂) Wilipedia now doesnot show palestinian country either FYI!!
Amazing scenery and great motivation that gave you the strength to move forward, you have my respect 💪
Thanks mate. Enjoy the other Videos too.
Kann mich hier nur wiederholen. Eine Wahnsinns-Tour die ihr da gemacht habt! Echt saustark 👌💪!!!
Vielen Dank 😊👍
17:37 "Istanbul, 130km traffic chaos" Hundred percent true 😀
This episode is so inspring for people like me, those who consider making a route and riding on top of mountains in eastern Black sea region (Crf 250 rally here). I'm trying to make a correct route which includes villages to make a break & get fuel and ride up to highplains again (postponed for a few reasons). Your map views and locations give a tip. Thank you for that 🤝
Good luck. Don't forget to watch also the 4 first episodes of the TET Turkey. Greetings, Stefan.
Incredible achievement. You did it much harder than we did, and in worse weather. Perhaps when I get younger I will do the same :D
You are doing very well for an oldish guy ;-)

A friend from Greece recommended the series to me. I'm glad he did!
Thank you for sharing the experience.
As a former TET linesman I applaud and appreciate that you lend Levent a hand scouting out new tracks - that is the true spirit of a TET rider.
Thanks Tonny. Happy you enjoyed watching all 8 episodes. My next journey is starting soon. Greetings, Stefan.

It was a great experience even if I couldn't get through some of the high mountain passes. Greetings from Germany, Stefan.
Hi guys. It is a pity that you did not go further than Georgia to the Caucasus Russia ... Dagestan, Chechnya and Elbrus .... next time try to get there. There you will get incomparable pleasure, completely different mountains and landscapes ... Look at the UA-cam channel project18 .. Good luck
Hi Victor, we only had 5 weeks for our entire trip from Germany and back. But it won't be the last time that I travel in that direction. Greetings, Stefan.
Looks like an amazing motorcycle adventure. A+++ mountain passes and video footage. Thanks.
Thanks, mate.

I spent whole weekend by watching your GEO-TR-GR videos. They are really cool and inspiring. You made me start to study on riding plans for next summer 😁👏🤘
If you have enough time go for Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Iran...
"Hello adventurers. In which month were you in Turkey? We are planning to go next year in spring and hope for a bit better weather. 😃"
Hi, we went im June. Enjoy your trip. Greetings, Stefan.
Merhaba. Temmuz sonu ağustos aylarında gelirsen bu iki arkadaş gibi dağlarda kar birikintileriyle fazla karşılaşmazsın. Haziran sonu temmuz aylsrında yerel halk yükseklere göç eder yollar açık yağışlar azslmış ve zorlu kar yığıntıları olmaz. Bu iki arkadaş gerçekten güçlü binicilrrmişli o zorlukları aşabilmişler.
@@yldraygergin3559 So, is it not worth going there at all in February?

Yes, I really enjoyed riding in Turkiye.
Congratulations, great trip and route.
Thanks mate.
Good riders also, driving needs expertise on such off roads
Bu adamlar o demir atları gerçekten iyi sürüyorlar. Bazen kalacsklar diye şüphe ettim benim köyümden dsğlarımdan geçtiler. Ben asla mevsimin o zamanlatında dağa motor sütmem aşırı soğuk yağış ve kar yığıntısından dolayı.
amazing trip! me and my friend have a plan go to Turkey in September. can you ask your friend from where he order this tank (black) cover, visible on 15:26 in video? Thanks.
It's original Yamaha tank pad. What you see around the tank cap is a decal.
@@BurningFeetAdventures do you have link where can I buy it? thanks.
@@T7oo everywhere. Just Google T7 tank pad
Amazing trip. Congrats.
Question: what’s the pressure tires you use?
For this trip it was 1.9 rear and 2.1 front
😊 welcome to turkey
How do you organise fuel in so remote location ?
I check fuel stations on the maps. Sometimes you have to fuel up even when the tank is still half full.
I've been waiting for you, but I saw a great journey~
Is TET a route name?
Yes, TET means Trans Euro Trail. Greetings, Stefan.
