First sung by Bette Midler, followed by Tanya Tucker and then was a number one hit for Helen Reddy. Excellent rendition, Casi Joy. 👍👌🤗
Ugh! I truly wish there was a way to like this video a million more times! BEAUTIFUL version!!!!! 💚
Sounding GREAT!!!!
I really like TT...and you did not disappoint.....you did well
The Bomb like Allways Casi
There are only a few worthy enough to sing a good rendition of this song & to achieve that. You simply must be, gifted. Like you, thank you. Simply an outstanding acoustic! May your Holidays be as bright as your New Year, thx for sharing again ;- ]
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your unplugged rendition! Great performance, thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
This song took off like a rocket for Tanya Tucker. Then she showed up on TV with black shiny skin tight pants, I was hooked. That was 1972 or 1973.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
You are so much fun to watch and listen to. I bet your concerts are so uplifting and fun you get the whole audience involved.

Great cover of a song from my youth, Casi! My suggestion is "Me and Bobby McGee".
She does an AWESOME job Bobbie McGee!!!
Oofta, that’s a big one! I might try to tackle it! I did years ago and it’s somewhere on my channel!
@@CasiJoyMusic Indeed it is, and I even commented on it two years ago, shortly after I discovered your music. Still, it would be interesting to hear you revisit the tune.
She did it and did an awesome awesome job on it
Superbillissimo!!!

Oh good idea!
Wow you nailed it!!!!!!!!!

If I could think of anything to describe your voice, it would be a combination of Sara Evans and Brenda Lee. Has anyone compared you to those singers? Your vibrato is as SUPERHOT as Sara Evans, but the tonal quality of your voice is similar to Brenda Lee, if not Miranda Lambert. Mind you Country isn't my go-to music genre (I'm a bagpiper LOL). If anything, I always listen to P/M Joe Adler's pipeband all day. Haha. His band is on UA-cam. "Joe Adler" or "Joseph Adler".
Casi needs to incorporate some bagpipes in one of her songs! ❤
I'll cover for her! Been wanting to collaborate with artists with bagpiping anyway, most people think of your average piper who sucks. Not me. I'm one grade away from the professional level. See, grade 5 in bagpiping is a total beginner (i.e. everyone starts at grade 5), but grade 1 is professional level. I compete in grade 2, but I've been stuck in grade 2 since 2017. LOL. And here's a fact: more than 75 percent of the world's pipers are in GRADE FREAKIN' 4, and can't get past that! As well, I play one of the best-sounding brands of bagpipes around (Peter Henderson). Nearly every other piper plays the worst-sounding McCallum bagpipes which have no human element in the making whatsoever, totally unmanned robotic bagpipe maker with the most unimpressive sound you've heard.@@scottmccall6068
@@michaelkazmierskidunn7189 wow! I did not know any of that! Thank you!
Beautiful cover
Thank you!!
Loved it an so pretty a talent God loves you
Casi I have a challenge you might be interested in taking up. Maybe you can inspire others to do the same. I call it, "Gospelize" songs we know and Love.
I rewrote the lyrics to Heavens Just a Sin Away to "Heavens Just A Prayer Away" but I have no followers and can't really sing.
Also the song I Love My Music by Loggins and Messina to "I Love My Jesus", but haven't finished it yet.
Seems to me people could take up the challenge on the Lyrics if you would agree to sing them.
There's a lot of Parodies out there, but most are funny or dirty or both.
But I'd love to see people gospelize tunes from all Genres
Not bad ! you did ok
OZark Mnt Daredevils ( Home made wine ) or ( If you want to get to heaven )
🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏
I got to see Tanya Tucker sing this when she was a teen.. and I must say you did a better job!!
Well Done. Dear, This is the season you should acquaint yourself with Murphy. (Murphy, The Prince & The Deer Who Could Fly) ... It was a song that launched Rudolph you know. The same could be done for Murphy and you could have a Hit on your hands. Next year maybe. I gave that book and one other to Bryan when you guys were in Wichita. Give it a look see. The Novels are my Music. Murphy is calling for you. Do you hear what I hear? ... Author Edward F Imhoff. ... ... New Novel coming out in late March. 'When All The Pieces Come Together.' Merry Christmas You two.
I remember this song as a kid in the early seventies. This was just the time Women's Liberation movement was starting.. Nothing has changed with women, just replace 'Mysterious Dark Haired Man' with 6 feet, 6 figure 6 pack.
That sounds like a good title for a song!!
What a voice! Just beautiful!! Could you tell me about your guitar? Is it orange? My 3 years old grandson is obsessed with his guitars and ukulele, and his favorite color is orange. And yes, his instruments are real, not toys. I'm going go watch some more of your videos now! Merry Christmas!!!
As usual you did great. Unfortunately I was watching the voice and Rebas team was on and you are a stratosphere better then them
Thanks so much for the kind words!!
...Thank you, that was nice.
Glad you enjoyed it!
