Beautiful Jellyfish (Rhizostoma Pulmo) in the Adriatic Sea, Opatija, Croatia

I encountered this beautiful Jellyfish while snorkeling on Preluk Beach, near Opatija, Croatia.
The jellyfish is Rhizostoma pulmo, commonly known as the barrel jellyfish.

Great video. What led me to it is that I saw the exact same species while swimming and snorkelling off Vrbnik, Krk Island, Croatia on Wednesday 31st August 2022. It was huge. It was about 25m below the surface of the water. 30degC day, very calm waters and perfect visibility below the water.

They're an interesting sight while snorkeling. This species is quite often in the Kvarner Bay area.
