I just ordered the fresh bouquet- the last 7 discc skinny mini on the HP website. Your drawing line tip on the plain paper made me smack my head and wonder why I didn't think of that! :). Brilliant!
Glad I could help, but also YAY for getting your hands on a skinny mini 🥳🥳 The perfect size ❤️ and thanks for the reminder that I need to cut down some paper, punch it, and set up a new one ASAP!!
I emailed happy planner asking them to bring this planner back. It's so cute and convenient. I own the skinny classic and I thought it was the mini when I got it, but I am not mad. The colors and stickers are so cute. Thank you for your video and for the cute planner set ups.
Right! I so agree Jenny, it is such a perfect little planner! Happy to see more skinnys this fall release so fingers crossed for more!!! Thanks for emailing them, I hope it works!! And thank you 🥰 that is kind!
They need to bring skinny minis back! I found them super useful for how I like to plan or dot things down. I have 1 but was only able to use 6months worth. Now just using it with blank sheets to toss into my purse for on the go.
Ja fantastisch! Ik vind het ook zo leuk om zo heerlijk te diy-en met mijn planners🎈 wat een heerlijk filmpje weer: It’s bezigheids therapie 🤣 Maar zeker heel cute al die screenshots👌
I was disappointed happy planner didn't even have a selection for the regular mini for this year. I like to use it for work schedules vs my classic. But this may help me get something set up for what I need
I measured the page size of the official skinny mini planners / notebooks, set that page size up in Adobe InDesign, inputted the locations of the punch holes, and went to work designing pages I wanted to use. Took some time but I am very happy with the result!
I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign for some of the pages, just because I have been using those programmes for decades. With Canva you should be able to do something similar, which you can use for free via www.canva.com/ But for most, I just got that "old" skinny happy notes and went to town with pen and ruler :) Good luck!
great video, I love how they turned out! I just bought an undated Skinny mini and was planning to do something similar. Can you tell me which program do you use to create your inserts? Is it difficult? And you print on heavy paper don't you? Thanks so much!
Thanks so much! Good luck with your project! I printed on 200g/m2 which was a bit too thick (especially when double sides printing did not work so I just pasted them together to make 400 😂) but it was this or 80 g/m2 so it is fine I guess! And I used Adobe Indesign for the covers and the monthlies. It belongs to the same family as Photoshop and Illustrator, and I am sorry to say it is not really easy to learn… I just have been using it for aaaages so know my way around. I think Canva might be a great option!
Have you ever used a skinny mini before?

I so agree! Perfect little handbag size 😭 Smart how you are able to still use it, I should look into that for 2022!
Good work!! 💛
Thanks so much guys! 🥳 And thank you for having the notes so I could make this work!!

That is annoying for sure! Are you perhaps able to pick up a planner on clearance from for instance Michaels so that you can redate it for 2024?
Love it!
Thank you Kat! 😍
I made a skinny minny before they existed 😅 I made my own everything. Should have had a planning company 😂
Haha nice!!! You were cool before it was cool 😂 👍
How did you create this?

Office Depot carries TUL brand and the junior has a half size that is perfect for the skinny mini
That’s great to know!

The skinny mini is my favorite planner I am so sad they discontinued it 😭
Right?! I keep hoping the skinny mini will pop up in a new release but till now they still haven’t appeared 😩

@@LizzuPlans thank you for your advice! I will try with Canva then :) I'm sure it will not be as cute as yours but I want definitely try! 🤣
Aw you’re kind! I just had a lot of practise :) Good luck!!
Super leuke video!
