Lol I thought you were older. Its so great to see the younger crowd enjoying mining for minerals. I wish my area had a higher concentration of minerals.
Fantastic adventure the mine I remember it still cool some sweet sweet samples sure getting darker quicker beautiful area as always amazing as always guys thank you be safe out there
Nice to see two areas put together in this video. I understand the need for privacy precludes doing a big picture map of where you're finding everything. I kind of want to go back to where I grew up and go looking for minerals. I imagine ever logging road has been looked at, but every valley I think of I also bet some mountain goat of a prospector has already been there.
The way that the samples were easily removed by hand in the big adit, I would have thought that it might have been more unstable. Obviously not. Nice video.
Why don't you guys use ATV's for the kilometres and kilometres of logging roads? Also handy for packing samples as well as access through locked gates and deactivated logging roads?
We find you tend to miss things though if we are scouring logging roads walking is best. If we have to travel somewhere a quad can get to but not a vehicle that's when we would
Good sample at that other road searching.Cool mine too.Where can you get maybe 2 reasonable priced gas monitors and is there an oxygen reader with them to see how much air is in a certain hall chamber ? Thnx
Another great video. Is there a visible difference between quartz and carbonate quartz? Is quartz carbonate more significant in a gold bearing area? Thanks!
Yes there is a visible difference, they also tend to break different very different carbonate minerals are not as hard as quartz, quartz carbonate is more "chalky". Its also generally forms closer to surface.
What company do you use for analysis of the geochemical makeup? Have you ever had to use a mass spectrometer for anything unusual/foreign that the aforementioned testing was not able to process?
@911 Mining.Thnx Justin.I think I will just stick with the mines that I have safely seen before based on the info that I got before hand.Wise what your doing in the more remote area mines that haven't been seen for a good while.
Were still out prospecting even in the snow well revisit claims we can do with snow, if access permits. We usually only have a few weeks of bad weather, also reporting gets done then
Nice video guys. I enjoyed the search for new showings. It's a shame the old mine didn't really have much, but you found some really nice samples on the road. Good luck guys. Looking forward to the next one.
Is there a camera lens filter that can discriminate for certain color wavelengths that would highlight any specific minerals? Or any lights that would do the same? You often show the chalcopyrite, the iron pyrite, the arsenopyrite and you mention 'free-mill gold' but it is pretty hidden in there. There has to be an easier way to look at a sample and get an idea if it's worth it. (Hey, some great inventions/processes have been found by lazy people who thought 'there's got to be an easier way).
Yes it's really hard showing sometimes with massive sulfides sometimes the color can be very similar or the same when seen on camera, free mill good is always so fine. Wish we had a field camera that showed 10x magnification.
Picture baking a cake but with minerals, you have a blender now throw all the elements in and mix it and bake it, you have a mix of elements, that's sort of the easiest was to explain.
911 you're on that logging road, moon rising sun setting, grab samples Everywhere, 26, with good mineralization, I think you're getting close... That showing is nearby, gps,get some rest, get out there early, first thing In the morning!
I want any material which contains gold silver palladium osmium ruthenium platinum rhodium ru etc Any percentage and any forms Material like nuggets pyrites sand quartz mining ore mud tailing residue slage etc If any material please send me sample Thanks
Getting a blasting ticket is simple enough. The code around blasting leads to costly mitigation of risk, though. Costs are high enough to discourage small outfits from having their own equipment and technicians for blasting. The logging and security measures are a headache, too.
Have you heard they found a fungus which turns gold dust into larger pieces. And the extrapolation was this is how nuggets were formed, especially the largest ones. So perhaps this "fungus" you found in the mine wasn't a bad thing...?
@@911mining I'm tempted to say you're better off letting a junior assemble a full land package. It looks like you have enough of the area to play around with, anyways...
Did you just say walking why in the world are you walk some kind of motorized vehicle you could go slow to be able to look at the area oh well just thought I’d mention it .
admit it... you just got sick of editing your faces out huh? :P Man you pretty much need a pressure washer in there to clean all those rocks so you can get a clear look at what's there.. That stuff that crumbles in your hand doesn't make me trust it at all.. or that collapse where those huge timbers were.. scary stuff. Some of those grey shiny samples make me wonder what they'd look like if you slabbed them with a saw and fully polished them.. I'm sure they'd look amazing.
Those are some of the nicest samples you've shown in a while.
Lol I thought you were older. Its so great to see the younger crowd enjoying mining for minerals. I wish my area had a higher concentration of minerals.
30 years young 👍
I kinda like the sample test data chronologically next to the video discussion mid video like you did at 9:29 and 10:19.
Awesome vid as usual, btw.

Great seeing mine explores now & then, the dirt on the walls in that drift were likely deposits from blasting. Great video

Hoy do you examine the samples?? Can you make a vídeo like this?? Regards 👋🏻
Great to finally see you guys. I love your work. Keep it up.
The way that the samples were easily removed by hand in the big adit, I would have thought that it might have been more unstable. Obviously not. Nice video.
Portions were mainly at the back was a little unstable.
Excellent discoveries thank you for your tireless work!

We do on occasion.

Fun video I have to cut it short about 15 minutes I got to go to work I watch the rest later on my break
See you then 🙋♂️

Yes this ones pricey about a 1000 bucks, you can buy ones that last 2-3 years only for a few hundred.
They both can be gold bearing though.

ALS minerals, or bureau veritas. We have rented them before but there expensive.

Good.

That sample @17:20 Those pyrite crystals were damn near specimen grade!
Good job you guys!!
Thank you very motch

Cool videos, did you get a new camera, great detail.
Not in the last 6 months
man that is real cool
Does gold run with zinc?
Yes.

Would be fun and informative to go out in the field with you.

Is this good rocks they see by the metal detector
But how do we work on these stones?
If there's mines and shafts,it's already been explored guys.???
way to far out guys , wish i could come play but im to old & beat up, have fun.
you guys overnight where you are prospecting?
Not this area relatively close to home and well known by us so well stay out late almost always
👍👍👍
High silver values but I see no silver minerals ,how to explain ?
Silvers and other elements are usually found as a replacement mineral in most sulfide ore not free milling.

@@911mining i got misled with the mineralogical approach , did you know, silver pk @ Hope they mined silver carbonate which isn't even a mineral !

Are you in oregon
How easy is it to get some blasting powder in Canada,eh?
Hard to do blasting yourself. Also need permits and to be liscenced/certified.

911 what would it take to get the other property, could patreons, subscribers finance this... let's get picks and shovels too...!
Sidney Osborne
The guy who's had it has had it for about 15 years, not sure if he's willing to get rid of it, renewals soon so we will see what he does.

@@MrPeabody67 That's what we are hoping for, if we can pick it up whatever but we have enough value in our own property
Would suck to run into a mountain lion in there.😟
We don't have mountain lines here just bear and cougar and occasional wolf
Stop smoking n get back in shape! 😂

Its fairly safe overhead other than at the back of the adit.
Looks like a rock to me , sorry but that’s all I see .
