Maybe my draw luck is bad but I feel like Arbok would be better. Not that this is bad by any means I had a ton of fun with this deck, but I feel like you have to focus energy in way too many places.
Just now I played against Pidgeot Ex deck with my Dugtrio deck. Dig really come in clutch, getting head three times in a row really save my skin. Guess the early bird didn't get the worm afterall.

Blaine decks also decimate Celebi decks, the new Rapidash does 60-120 damage to Celebi depending on if you flip heads, thrown in Blaine and that’s 90-150. The New Magmar 1 shots it with Blaine (does 130 total), Ninetails one shots with Blaine, Flareon one shots, Arcanine one shots with Giovanni, Arcanine EX one shots. Blaine decks can get going super fast and obliterate grass decks. Celebi deck is basically a worse MewTwo deck, think of Serviper a better Gvar (still needs to evolve twice to turn its supporting Pokémon online but is better than Gvar) and Celebi as a worse MewTwo (totally RNG damage, doesn’t really come online until you have Serperior, and has a small health pool especially vs Fire decks). Celebi Serperior is very fun and good but it’s very RNG dependent and it’s entirely dependent on getting Serperior online. Without Serperior Celebi is not great. Low health, RNG damage, etc. Celebi will be in a lot of “shorts” because it CAN do hilariously high damage, but most of the time it’s doing 50-100 which is less than most EXs.
@@mkelly7143 I wouldn't say that this is entirely true. Celebi has only a one energy retreat cost, can be switched out fast and can be dormant in the backline till the time is right and you put 4 energy on it or more. I frequently get 5 energy on it and can even support the next celebi if the first one dies. The supporter cards are all very easily switched, so you can tank a good while and it can be very dangerous even without the supporter card when it has 5 energy on it. You just have to play around the RNG with big numbers and don't give energy to mostly anyone else. Of course you can also lose to bad matchups with fire or paralysis/sleep, but you can also play around that. Otherwise you are unlucky and you get that with every deck once in a while.
