The reason the fans are turning on them is because we realize how compromised and contrived their takes are. Everyone sees CLEARLY the outcome of the Kendrick Drake feud but these industry sellouts such as Akademiks, Gillie, Rory n Mal, Flakko, (I'll throw you in there a bit too Danny) are trying to twist the narrative to protect Drake. When has that ever happened in a beef?

My only issue with Mal and it’s the only issue people and the fans have been pointing out is that, Mal wasn’t being objective! I get that Drake is a “friend”, but to downplay Kendrick like he couldn’t rap against Drake is being disingenuous. Also to keep babying Drake by saying “oh they just hate that he’s so successful and they’re just jealous” is a bigger insult to Drake. Another thing Drake fans failed to realize in this entire beef is, what did Drake do wrong to make these guys come at him? Till this day we can’t find an article or even video of Kendrick “allegations” but there is plenty of “allegations” on Drake side and that why Kendrick story stuck more than Drake, and Mal and the stans couldn’t be objective and see why this angle worked for Kendrick.
So this is the main reason why people are mad at Mal. Rory is definitely holding his tongue because he not trying to upset Mal, but that’s hurting their dynamic a little if they can’t have an honest conversation and call out each other bad takes. I have a question How much was the Studio 71 deal worth? They were not loud about it like they were the million-dollar Sirius deal and I suspect the bag was waaaay lower.
