The mesh trash baskets are good for composting in place.

The small ones would be great for lettuce!!! Rebar can be slipped down the middle of the vertical planters to keep it in place.
That is a great idea. I was trying to remember the name of the iron “thing” rebar…. I'll have to try that!

Alexandrina great! I watched the winter video. I want to try. Did you use regular potting mix or the Jiffy mix? Thank you
Hello! For Winter sowing, you only use the regular Potting mix as the seeds are outside and exposed to the natural elements. However, if you going to start seeds inside, you should use the Jiffy Seed starting
mix as it contains the nutrients for the seed development as the indoor is not the natural environment for seeds. Just got done winter sowing poppy seeds, will share that soon. Great question! Happy planting!🩷
The black plastic planters and plastic pot have lasted longer than the other color pots which seems to split open faster.

Lol friend...the only thing I can say about the handheld bug zapper. What the......??? why would you want to hold it...I've read that the bugs explode with zappers ....yuck!!!! I remember you were so grossed out and horrified by the slugs last year when they went to town in your garden... can you imagine the bugs exploding guts splattering on you....nah that's ok no thanks... I'd rather hook it up away from me lol😂
No friend, they don’t explode. I can’t explain it but it zaps them. Comes in handy when you outside especially in the night and the mosquitoes be buzzing around your ears. You waive it around and it “zaps” them. Umm, you cannot compare these bugs “mosquitoes” to those nasty slimy crawling slugs. 😂 Did you get my message?
