7731: Broken Glow Plug Tip Puller Master Kit M8, M9 & M10

Glow plug failed? You're going to have to remove it, hopefully in one piece. If the glow plug breaks because the tip is seized in the cylinder head, then the Laser 7731 kit has been designed to help you extract this broken tip.
The kit includes unique extended drill bits with crimped and welded ends for increased access and a built in depth control collar to ensure the maximum depth cannot be exceeded. Using specially machined thread taps, crimped and welded to extra-long extensions for increased access.

Overkill, simply remove the injector and tap the broken tip into the cylinder.
You can then remove the broken tip through the injector port with a magnetic flexy probe.

You will not get the tip out thru the injector port you need to be lucky and get the tip vertical onto the magnet, doing it this way saves having to remove the head, I know someone who tried it. To remove the head etc it was cheaper to get a second hand engine.

This kit is more for if the glow plug snaps between the hex socket and the threads. If the tip of the glow plug snapped it would take pulling the cylinder head off to get it out.

Definitely works used it myself on a c4 picasso took a lot of Access stripping down but got the job done 👍

I have done a few - but not with this kit - the Citroen Berlingo / Mini cooper / ford / mazda and peugeot, it is a ball ache - the egr can needs removing first but only the two exhaust clips not the water hoses - they are tight but doable - expect spending an hour a tip plus time for the necessary removal of injector loom and plugs to make the necessary space….. before you begin
