Great to see you drinking real ale for once and that all the hard work of us CAMRA anoraks in the early 70s wasn't entirely in vain. And a splendid pub doing its best, like so many others, to survive in unprecedentedly challenging times be they the result of covid, brexit or whatever. One obvious and helpful way to boost trade (that could be done next week) would be to reduce the ridiculous amount of tax on a pint of ale. I've worked out that if the cost of the last pint I had there (sadly about 40 years ago) had risen by the rate of inflation it would now be only around £2.20 (admittedly it was some awful piss called Whitbread Gauntlet but no matter).

Unfortunately not at the minute, well the rose and crown review, I've not viewed the footage but I want to re make it. I was sick for about 10 days and I've been looking at moving and changing jobs so the time has slipped throw my fingers. Gutted the weather has been alright too.
