ABRAIL 2024 part 2

ABRAIL 2024 is probably the best model railway exhibition we have ever attended.
There were so many amazing layouts to see, spread across three buildings and every one of them showed incredible detail and were delightful to look at. Simon and dad had a brilliant day out and were truly inspired by all the layouts we saw.

Another fantastic video from the AB rail expo Simon. The first layout overlord which depicts the operations of D day in 1944 shows that all railways have a role to play during a time of conflict. And that is one big submarine for a model on that scale!
The layout Broadford is a location on the north eastern mainline between Melbourne and Albury where I come from. Many trains graced the line including the Spirit of Progress and Southern Aurora, it is still one of Australia's most vital rail corridors. The north eastern mainline also played host believe it or not to Flying Scotsman when it visited Australia in 1988-1989.
