Good day sir, Can you teach a bit about use of choke valves and onshore well head piping? I am interested in knowing why Rtj's are used instead of Rf flanges
Choke valves are special type of Valves used exclusively in well head for better control of high pressure flow. RF flanges are standard flanges used only up to 2500#, however RTJ shall be used more than 2500# and more effective sealing than RF flanges for high toxic services
