Hi Akshat,, as u have multiple times spoken about expense ratio on MFs , aren't the rate of returns shown on MF is exclusive of expense ratio. So, in that case if we are happy with the history of the rate of returns that is mentioned on MFs, shudnt we be just buying it irrespective of expense ratio... Great stuff. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands.

It fills sometimes you are forcibly releasing videos every day. Instead of that if you can cover macro economics topics which can affect business in near future or long term. I personally feel you are best at this and this insights are must for any stock market investor. Small correction 15% annual returns on 10 lacs means 12.5 k monthly returns.
Today, I realized how good of a return I am making from past few years. My capital isn't in crores and that's why I had some subconscious thoughts that were not positive. I'm in those 1 percent people and that too top section of that 1 percent.

GDP growth rate is not directly relevant with stock exchange movement. Look at western economies e.g. USA whose gdp growth and inflation rate is small but stock indexes are growing in double digits. Also, GDP slowed down during pandemic but stocks went up to all time high so quick. So take this math with a pinch of salt.

Dear Akshat, you always say that Mutual Funds cannot be chosen on their past performance, then why do you consider MF's past performance while ridiculing them? And why don't you show the funds that have given returns in the range of 15% to 25% in the last 5 years? People can earn much more than what they make in an index fund if they choose MF wisely and stay invested in the long term. I have done it myself and I personally know many who don't know much about stocks but are making decent returns in MFs. kindly elaborate if I am wrong here.

@Akshat, your argument is completely false. JSW Steel & Maruti do predict the prices with certain probabilities. Why they enter into forward contracts? -> Risk management.
