wish we could get the Gautrain development to move faster. Living In Jozi and working in Sandton, the commute traffic is insane. Now living and working in London, the tube is just brilliant, know they have had hundred of years to develop here. I guess Gautrain to reach tube level, will take years, but it would be amazing for South Africa

Mini bus taxis in large numbers have a reputation of making places dirty. In this context the city is nice and clean, and then suddenly there are taxis parked on the pavement in a haphazard fashion. Mind you there is a dedicated taxi rank in the transport interchange building in sandton, why are they not making use of that?
I'm a South African too. Mayb we need to ask local gov to build a better infrastructure to accommodate these taxis. Jhb is no different to CT. Recently we went to view WestCoast flowers. Used GPS To nd Fro The Fro journey was a nightmare thru the Township of Atlantis as directed by GPS.. Paul's journey much better.
@@hawasattar2241 in some areas infrastructure might be a problem, but in the city of Joburg it isnt an issue. And this isn't a Government problem either. The problem lies with the unruly nature of the taxi industry in general, taxi operators aren't a law abiding lot. You should see the squalid conditions of Joburg CBD taxi ranks. Been to CPT and Stellies, and from what I have seen during my time over there, it isn't as bad.
