Thank you for posting this! I’ve been looking for the “tension” portion of this song for the longest time. I remember it playing during the parasite quest and you’re running through obstacles with savathun’s worm in your hands.

I don't play Destiny anymore, but still loosely follow some of the lore and OST, right. But WOW, this piece here actually makes me want to get back on and play up to Witch Queen haha! This is really, really good :D
The Witch Queen campaign is extremely fun (also best experienced blind). As usual, try out the free stuff like King's Fall, Prophecy, Vault of Glass or Dares of Eternity to get a feel for the game again and then consider whether or not it's worth it for you to buy the Witch Queen expansion.
If you need a quick rundown for the new stuff, Witch Queen (also the 30th Anniversary) and the following Seasons have added:
- four Crucible maps, two from D2, one brand new one (the cycle was broken, yes), and one returning D1 map (part of a plan to release a map every three months I believe. Hilariously, when asked if the same would apply to Gambit, which did get a revamp but is still only for the trouble for its weapons, I believe Bungie said that they were hiring)
- a new weapon type, the Glaive, which is very fun
- one new destination, the Throne World
- three new Battlegrounds for Vanguard ops (EDZ, Cosmodrome, Moon) to add to last year's four that stuck around (Nessus, Europa, Cosmodrome, Nessus again)
- two new Strikes
- the weapon crafting system (there's a free Quest that introduces the system and gets you two excellent weapons)
- two Raids, Vow of the Disciple and King's Fall (WQ and free to play)
- two Dungeons, Grasp of Avarice and Duality (30th Anniversary and a Dungeon Pass I think, which includes one more to be released before Lightfall)
- Dares of Eternity (this is part of the 30th Anniversary but free for all players)
- new weapons, armour, and Exotics
- overhauls to the Void, Solar, and Arc subclasses to be in-line with Stasis and Lightfall's new Strand (certain abilities and effects were removed, but most subclasses came out stronger, such as quite infamously Sunbreaker, which is comically busted)
- quality of life stuff
how do you manage to get the music out of the game itself?! I've been trying to find a method and none of them really convince me. I see Brenshi with the Drums and Layers of the songs and I would love to see all possible versions of some songs in the game so I would like to know
Basically I extract all the audio files and then put them together.
