I am two minutes into this great tutorial and it opened my eyes to the terrifying project I have at hands from school I cannot thank you enough for this awesome video sir. Thanks a million times.
This has been hugely helpful! I've been trying to create a cover with Microsoft Word. Aggravating! Publisher makes more sense for such a project. And your step-by -step teaching is very much appreciated!!
I work in a copy and print center and we use publisher pretty much every day. I've watched a lot of tutorial videos and I can tell you this is one of the better ones. It covers basically all the essentials you need to just get started designing something. Good work, but you misspelled magazine in the title.
Omg. This was so helpful!!!! Thanks so much for posting! I have a project due for a class where I need to create a magazine and I had no clue where to start.
This has a luck because my friend did the steps on your video and she succeded on the the test and she got an A+ I was soooooo shocked thats why its video is a lucky charm and helpful for kids that don't know how to use brochure!!!!!
On your website, I cannot find any content for Microsoft Publisher. Although you mentioned using a 2013 version, perhaps this was taken down in favor of an updated 2010 version?
+Donna Potter Try this 1) Create a new box (Insert Menu > Shapes > Choose a rectangle. Draw a box on the screen) 2) Set the transparency of the box to 70% (Click the box. Click Format menu > Shape Fill > More Fill Colors. Set the transparency setting. While in the fill color dialog box choose black for a color to get a neutral filter color.) 3 ) Move the box over the picture and resize.
Great tutorial! Your video is high quality in sound! I would like to ask a question of how can I change the bleed and margins to 1/4 inch on all four sides of the document. The document will go to a professional printer! Thanks🎸
Probably not, have to take it to a real printer have a printing company actually bleed to the edge. I've always had issues with Microsoft programs "bleeding"
Man. Thanks for your tutorial. Can you help me? I want to make a PDF file with protected-copy images. But when I export it, always permited to copy the image. Thanks for all help.
+Papa Meme a la creme (meme) You need to take a chill pill! Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it can't work for others. You are very disrespectful. I hope you have a good rest of the day.

+Umer K Glad it worked out for you. Check back when you have more school projects. I've created many other videos for Microsoft Office tools.

Best presentation. Thanks.
does the picture won't ruin when printed if I didn't follow the line (margins) ??
+MIHO MIHO The picture quality will be ok. The edges will be cut off.
Cant we print without the edges being cut off? Something like marginless / borderless printing
Thank you very much, sir, that you've given me some insight to make a magazine in an easier way!

+Papa Meme a la creme (meme) Bad english too.
Can you do that for the 2007 version?!
Publisher is pretty much the same since forever. 2007 should work fine.
NICE TUTORIAL
How do you insert a photo from a scanner into a Publisher document?
Save the file from the scanner. Once you have a file like photo.jpg, you can import it into the document.
