Mark did something great for Justin. He could bravely face the world and Mark even prepared the family for it.
Mark was so great with him. He'd back talk and back stab plenty of other people, but he basically acted like the cool uncle with Justin

When I first moved away from home to a larger city, I had the council of a man named Kevin. He was older than me by a decade. He called himself my fairy-gay- mother. He dragged me to clinics for regular testing, gave me pep talks when dumb boys rejected me, totally educated me on the big gay music hits of the 80's and made sure I stayed away from drugs at clubs. There was nothing romantic about it, but there was love there. And I am thankful.
That's amazing I had the same kind of person in my life. Her name is Natalie and she always made sure I was doing good when I first came out as gay. It's always a blessing to have someone make a big impact like that.
I hope you guys are still friends. Good friendship hard to come by.

I would like to think that following the events of Season 4, after Wilhelmina is offered the role of sole editor in chief, taking on Marc as her creative director, Marc puts a good word in for Justin to temp at mode after finishing high school. Given how well he fits in, and how even Wilhemina admits he is gifted (the little fashion elf), he could really have a good career there.
I wish I had a Mark in my life when I was in high school 😭

betty isn't ugly. i don't get the name of the show
she was never really ugly, but this was the start of her metamorphosis where she didn't have the bushy eyebrows and her clothes started getting more "fashionable"

She was working for a fashion magazine and everybody working there was wearing the latest trends and was very posh. She did not fit in... with her I don’t-care style. And let’s be honest this was before all the "politically correct" stuff. When people didn’t need to have everything explained to them or they didn’t have to pretend to not understand just to look like a good person.
The show is based on a Spanish novela (Soap opera), Betty La Fea (Ugly Betty). In the Spanish version. she worked at a Designer Clothing store and was surrounded by models and beauty people. Most of them didn’t like her because of her looks (unibrow, thick glasses, braces, and lack of sense of fashion) thats why they nick named her Bety la fea (ugly Betty)
