There are so many subtleties, little hints throughout the show about what is going on and they slowly reveal crazy plot twists in a really cool and intelligent way. It is a show that makes you think. The show is like "lost" where it purposes a lot of questions, but thankfully by the season finally it answers most of them. If you know nothing about it it. Basically, the premise of the show, is that it is set in a near future, where you can pay $40,000 a day to live out your fantasies in a western world. Throughout the world there are "hosts" which are robots, but robots that are so similar to humans it is hard to tell if they are human or not. This is one of the main questions of the shows is "what does it mean to be human". Basically as a 'guest' you can do what ever you want to the 'host' and they can't harm you. Anyways, the major focus of the show is on these hosts, and how they are slowing starting to recognize the reality they are in, and how they deal with that. Also beware, like game of thrones there is plenty of violence and nudity (not that much sexual nudity though just a lot of naked robots ) to go around. Reading through what I wrote my description does not do it justice, in my opinion it's one of the best produced, written, directed, and acted shows I've seen personally. Go a head give it a try, if you make it to the end you won't regret. If you have any questions ask me.
