From what I remember, I think a month or two ago, but it was just small update. They claim to be working on a cooperation feature, but that doesn't really interest me. So far, the app still works great, but if that changes or support stops, I will update my thoughts on the app.
@@MatthewDeweyWriter it does work well. I'm usually pretty happy with it BUT I have not seen any updates in a long time. When I go to the FB page and ask my question goes unanswered. I like the product but I am afraid without any development underway it will soon be obsolete. The Collaboration piece has been "In progress" for well over a year, maybe two. I think it is workable for formatting these days but I have concerns about long term and have moved to something more current, though I would like to see development continue.
Thank you! I've only started working with it in May of this year. Those are some major issues - I probably will have to start looking at alternatives too. Still, the formatting features are incredibly handy as it stands, so it should work for now. A real shame and more than a little annoying too.
@@MatthewDeweyWriter I have found that for writing NovelCrafter is awesome. It can't do offline (yet) but there are many other features that cannot be beat. It does NOT require AI integration and has collaboration, a codex for story bibles and so much more. Where Atticus shines, IMHO is in the formatting for Amazon. NovelCrafter doesn't have that (yet). My workflow these days (now that I've ditched Scrivener) is to write in NC and then export/import to Atticus for formatting, unless of course I'm going through a publisher, then I just export to Word and send it off. I really want to see Atticus succeed but they have fallen behind already.
Thank you for watching! If you have any questions or future topics, be sure to let me know.
I thought you did great in the two Dune films! I didnt know you wrote books too. Congrats!
I try 👍
Lol
Am loving Atticus. ❤❤❤
How's the grammar check?
Still in development as far as I can see. I make do with the Grammarly extension, but having a secondary grammar check built in would be useful.
When was the last time it was actually updated with a new feature?
