I was there truly the greatest concert i have ever seen i was 500 yrds from the stage on the right hand side i came into the.concert frombehind the stage looked down towards the arc de triomphe and saw hundreds of thousands of people i will never forget the whole thing ever concerts like this are truly once in a lifetime events
Great to see this rare footage of a musician who still today keeps going and going, I remember seeing this on UK tv 📺 I could not believe what I just saw, truly remarkable visual music show that took over the city of Paris, there must of been some planning into this, JMJ is such a creative musician know one has attempted before. A true record breaker of our time, I hope we all see some of this again, thanks to who ever recorded this,
Almost 20 years to the day since I witnessed this concert in Paris and it was and probably always will be the most spectacular show I have ever had the pleasure to see. Thank you so much for this behind the scenes doc. I have never seen it before and it brings back many many very happy memories!
I remember family holidays driving down to Menton/Nice listening to this on my walkman whilst my Dad and Mum were driving. I lost my Dad in January, I miss him terribly. This music holds such happy memories for me. For 2 years we took the MotoTrain from Boulongne to Avignon. Thankyou Dad for giving my sister and I such wonderful memories.
Never seen this one before, my absolute favorite live performance I've seen, and I doubt that I will experience anything better than this. It was the time and era for these kinds of stunts, nowadays the elements of grandeur and lunacy in perfomances seems gone...
Brilliant behind the scenes footage. Glad to see a skytracker being airlifted to the top of one of the buildings, because I certainly remember seeing them at the concert, but they dont come out at all on the video. Weird.
LOL yeah, the crap bit of superimposiing on the video makes me puke. I think its on Calypso Part 2. Theres a clip of the CNIT building, and you can see the film actually freezes and then colour changes are superimosed onto the CNIT building, and then the film resumes.. really cheap and tacky !! Still, nothing can be as bad as the Destination Docklands video. But those skytrackers were really prominent at the concert, you could clearly see them.

Concert de folies, lui de folies, souvenirs impérissable 😵 Bravo, et merci JMJ😀🤗
Il m'a inspire de jouer le synthetiseur, et meme apprendre le francais. Quelle un inspirateur! Groeten uit Nederland!

I'm glad I wasnt the only one to notice it !
that stage ended in the bottom of the Atlantic ocean
MM may have been a poor director at times, but nothing could have detrected from this magnificent concert.
Concert for tolerance was rather good.
@oxygene65
It not weird since Mike Mansfield directed the film ;-)
Oxygene 4 has dire superimposing too, during the solo at the end. That CNIT building effect was indeed cheap and tacky !
