Cooking Sago with Chicken "Kelkal"

  • Hi VM fam.
    So i took part in the Zenag Chicken Independence traditional dish competition and was selected as one of the top 5 dishes. Unfortunately, when it came down to final voting (Public Votes) i didn't get as many reactions and so i didn't win.
    But all good,..as long as i get to share this very simple traditional recipe from my mums place Manus Province called "KELKAL" in "Pitylu with you guys.
    The original recipe is sago cooked with shredded fish, shrimp or clam shells (seafood) but cooking is all about experimenting different methods and techniques to make food tastier.
    You might say chicken with sago is a crazy combination,...but i dare you to try this recipe, it taste just the same as the original recipe😋
