Hey I just made one using a bigger sprocket on the chainsaw so I put it around the clutch so when I start it it doesn’t move then I used the biggest sprocket on the bike, the chainsaw is 49cc and when I started it when I moved it moved about 2km per hour.ps it has a tensioner. Could you please help do you think it’s cause I need to use a small sprocket on the chainsaw or do u reckon I need a more powerful chainsaw? What’s your thought?

The main thing you should be after is final drive ratio. That would be how many time the clutch rotates for ever one rotation of the wheel. This will prevent your clutch from burning out. A good number to shoot for is about 20:1
Checkout this video ua-cam.com/video/zXNAOMRbzJo/v-deo.html I use a jack shat to achieve a little over about 19:1 and that seems to work good.
