Keith was a high octane authentic human being and his energy lives on the music he poured himself into those prodigy albums are the anthems of a generation really well regarded and loved. Thanks for recording this couldn't be present from abroad but I'm really happy to see he got a quality sendoff. The music of prodigy has really helped me personally find motivation find that raw creative force in myself at times when the going got tough.
Since 1997 ( I was 12), I've waited for the opportunity to see The Prodigy perform live. Living in Atlanta, Ga it always felt like the impossible . However, finally, in my adult life in May of 2019 I was planning to see The Prodigy perform ( right here in my city of all things.) And then Keith ups and leaves us just a few months prior. I've never been more heartbroken. It is safe to say that I literally waited a lifetime for the opportunity, got so close, and then had it taken away. This makes me believe that Keith never understood the gravity and weight of his existence, and what he meant to so many. Keith Flint Forever.
Awesome day of mixed emotions. Very tearful one minute listening to the acoustic songs and then laughter, jokes and smiles the next when hearing the readings of their early childhood years and then the period during their rise to fame from small raves at the Barn to playing Labyrinth and Raindance to world wide domination. Keith would have loved the afterwards part. We all celebrated and partied on. Some more than others. I was the one who was laying spread eagled on the road in the Daily Mail article. According to them I was 'taking a break' (!) Is that what you call it these days??? The truth is I'd 'double dropped' an hour before roughly and I was buzzin me little tits off with a huge grin on me mush. We all love you lots Keith. May you Rave In Peace. See you on the other side. That will be one hell of a rave up for sure. Give me mam a cuddle up there from me please.....MARK x
Being there was electricity.. still doesn't seem real! I was close to Mike Champion. Mike loved him alot.... and I don't know why . May they both rest in peace! X
thanks.. this is the first video i've seen from this side of the church grounds.. that's me opposite in peach top, also filming.. i didn't see maxim coming in, been told since he was one of the pallbearers on your side that's why i missed him..
That was one tough funeral to attend at 25.01 I glad I swore out loud Fuck Yeah as a Bromley Boy punk is in my blood, punk was in the South London air, punk will never die. Keith a few years and days older than me, so many similarities it’s quite uncanny...the highs, the lows that desperate feeling of ‘well what the fuck now todo now, I’m buzzing and the raves over!’ And back to that mundane reality outside the marquee of heavenly ethereal and esoteric beats..I guess as we ravers grow older and acheyer that beat one day will stop... But until then fucccckinnnn avit!!! 50 not out and as soon as I can get my arse in a club, I’m avvvvvin it. Though I’ll pay for it physically for two days after. 😂😂🤘🏻 We Live For The Beats...🖕🏻fuck the CJB, fuckem and their law.
This band is a huge part of my life. Even though, I never met him in person, upon his passing I felt like I've lost a friend. RIP Legend!!!
