About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:
Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on UA-cam.
At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Mr. Kondo is the master of Kansai style cooking, considered to be the high-end of Japanese cuisine. Terada earned the title Master Sushi Chef by becoming the standing head sushi chef & can serve Fugu (Japan Licensed) to the public.

Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

Always seen Rolls made with rice never with noodles this is a new one for me
You keep giving me non-rice options for sushi, I thank you a ton. My girlfriend doesn't do rice due to a texture issue (makes her gag for whatever reason....not the taste). I asked about it once...whether that had squat to do with it or not doesn't matter...I HAVE OPTIONS! LOL

Adding san after the name means friend, respected, honored - like we say Mr., Mrs, Ms, Miss, Sir, Ma'am, etc. in The States.
My 82-year-old mom was raised in Tachekawa, Japan, circa early 40s to 1960.

Imo, this is the perfect dish for summer time! I would definitely put the dipping sauce in fridge so it could bring the extra refreshing taste to the sushi. This is a great dish, Hiro san. :D

Chef Hiro-San and so many other vloggers have so many vids out there in yt land.
Grab a pen and paper. Google, take notes and make a serious study of it, ok? It will be worth both the time and money investment over your lifetime, but you must be serious about it.
Wood products require high maintainance, subject to mould, etc. I bought 2 sets of PLASTIC sushi makers.
Easy cleanup, are they dishwasher safe, top or bottom rack, hand-wash only?
Sushi making kits... and let the adventures begin. Whatever you decide on, buy 2 sets!
I have 2 SUSHIMASTER International sets.
It makes heart-shaped, U-shaped, V-shaped, square, round, etc., sushi rolls.
Amazing presentation, wows the crouds, etc.
Practice a few times in your kitchen. Yum!
Then... the magic part...
Buy your ingredients, do a full mis en place, and invite your "crush", aka special friend over and have a sushi making date/party.
Might be something to practice on with a few close friends first, right?
If she's in to sushi... you have a hit on your hands...
Make a standing date? Pick one day a month for sushi making?
Have her bring along one of her fav ingredients? Veges, 1 lb. of shrimp, crab, salmon, trout?
BTW!!! You should also cook the seafood to avoid the great-date-gone-wrong (aka severe gastro distress!!! 😥), etc.
