My favorite part of this video is to mention of being able to feel that you've effectively fished an area because there are no fish on the radar. An incredible time-saver, especially in tournament scenarios!
Just installed my panoptix yesterday! Just waiting for my 30 Ah amped lithium battery to get here. I'll have to fish James one day. I have yet to catch a smallmouth. I live near Charlotte NC
I do the Same thing all day with mine. I have a blast. So easy to work through dead water. I regret not getting a gpsmap though since you can’t record the screen with an echo map. What are you using to mount or hold your camera in front of the screen?
Dream Catcher’s Fishing, how do you have you livescope ran to your batteries? And what update do you have installed? Very nice picture on your screen. Awesome content as usual
Great video, they call Lake James the dead sea but you always figure out how to put the smack on them. Do you always fish from the canal bridge east or do you fish toward Black Bear any?
The East side of the lake sets up more like our lakes in the mountains but the Catawba side has been productive for us too! I like the deep clear water!
What version are you running on GLS10? Mine has been jacked up since the perspective update.... can’t get it clear anymore, also have a dead zone and ghost tree. Very interested in how you have yours so clear.
Do you think the transducer ping scares the fish you hold it on a fish or school of fish for to long? I’ve heard it will. But it didn’t’ look like it was at any point in this video. Thanks for the Panoptix setup tutorial you did in the last video. It was very helpful. Great video again. Safe travels, tight lines and God Bless.
love the videos, but man not everyone can afford panoptix, I know if you want to be competitive in tournaments you have got to keep up with the technology but will it every level out... again I love your videos but as I watched you fish I seen what I see daily and that is eyes glued to a screen not the beauty all around.. thanks for letting me post my ramblings... keep up the great work guys and tight lines
Probably my favorite video yet. Garmins got it going on.
Excellent video and explanation 👍

Great video Austin, my next boat will definitely have panoptixs on it. Thanks for the video.

Dude awesome video
Awesome content, thanks for sharing! Gotta get me some of that Panoptix. Fished James a few times with some success but definitely not on that level.
You can get it from us and we can install it! Would love to take ya out and show you how to use it!
Could you provide the models and software versions you are running? Maybe a future video on setup/settings you prefer. Thanks for what you do man.

Going to be putting out a video with all those details SOON!

What is that low-tone ticking noise I hear throughout the video? Speeds up and slows down at times...

I do think the ping can scare the fish along with just the presence of the boat! the panoptix, from what i can tell... is silent!
What color pallet was that
Oh my gosh. This video is crazy! Haha

Do you happen to have the 2.1 or 2.2 livescope update? I would like to backdate my garmin. I notice you don’t have the ghost tree
Play with your ghost mode, turn it off, and then adjust your gain to 60ish.
You should edit your title to say Panoptix with LiveScope. I have the Panoptix PS22 version and it's not LiveScope. But your video is great.
Which garmin unit or you showing?
This is a 106SV
What head unit us that?
Echomap 126, we have them at Dream Catchers Fishing!
@@americasoutdoorfam I'll check u out THANKS

Very irrating background noise. Don't know it is supposed to be music, but YOU DON'T NEED IT.
