I just started reading your book 'FIGHTING WORDS', and you ended day one with this song, and I am so grateful for the reminder that God is always near.
I was looking for a book on Amazon and found yours, and I decided to try it because I have struggled with depression for most of my life. Day one has just begun a new journey for me to let go of the pain and let His love, joy, and peace in forever ♥️❤❤ Thank you and God bless you 🙏 ❤️
Starting radiation this week for breast cancer. He has been with me through this whole journey giving me peace. Moving forward with overwhelming positive thoughts knowing he will be with me where ever I am. ❤✝

In 2016 I first listened to this song. My dad lost his job I was a sophomore in college and my grandpa just died. Over the next two years my dad was out of work and it was extremely hard but God reminded me through this song that He is here. Last month my dad lost his job again. I’m getting married and moving away from family. I’m starting a new career and can’t find a job. Thank you for encouraging me again because God is still here with me just like He was before.

it came to a point in my life where all was gone from me. Everything I loved. I was immensely "in the darkness" I felt doom, rejection from many, truly an overwhelming darkness and despair. I went down on my knees and surrounded to God. And I remember to this day what I saw when I looked up. I looked to God, the only one that could help me. With All my heart,body mind and soul, I reached out to him. What I saw was no mistake nor a figment of my imagination. It was the most beautiful face of Jesus. I reached around for my phone but it was not outside with me. My body nor eyes could not leave what I was seeing. I was in "awe"!! No other words. I spent the next several days to weeks, seeking Him again, crying out because I knew that I could not have seen such an articulate, beautiful face of Jesus with "total perfection" like that, I was not hallucinating. The more you seek Him and the more you call upon Him, He "Will" answer you. In one way or another he will. I felt a tremendous thirst in my soul to know Jesus more. I started to real the bible. I was directed over and over to read the book of Job. I struggled to sleep but without rest i could find none. Then it is when it happened. I was awoke from a deep sleep. I felt the presence of God. It's amazing how He speaks to your heart, and OH how he can speak to you without you hearing verbal words. I found myself crying out, and from deep within I felt soo much remorse for my sin. I felt His power, His love, His forgiveness. Then I experienced how the bible talks about "darkness to Light...Dead to Life. It is most definately a physical experience. I not only felt this in my soul, but Heaven felt closer, the sky the trees, everything was much visually brighter, as well beautiful. I then experienced taking "the walk with Jesus. Showing me my sin, showing me how to be more like Him. I also have had not so good experiences from Satan and His demons. Oh, No..he does not want you to surrender to God. He did not win, He will never win. I belong to Jesus and my name is written in the book of Lambs. When I was trying to bulid my faith in Jesus and after I had surrendered, I had a frightful experience from Satan and his demons. So bad that I sought the help of constant prayer and annointment by my church as well as a dear friend whom Im positive God put in my life. A true Jesus follower and child of God. We sat in a restaurant one day. I asked for his help in Jesus, to get rid of Satan and his demons. My pastor asked me to read certain scriptures out of the bible. As I read, I felt the presence of a spirit "And" the presence of Jesus, acting as my attorney. The one spirit was grumbling while the other was "for me, defending me. The next thing that happened...I had a rubber bracelet on, given to me by a child at a christian camp. "What would Jesus Do?" printed on it. It was ordered from Amazon. The bracelet started to move around my wrist by "ITSELF" My pastor even seen it. This happened over two years ago. The words have eventually wore off and it stared to tear over time. I took duct tape and taped the tear. It is my constant reminder. I will never take it off. I have some very overwhelmingly beautiful but personal moments with Jesus that I wish to keep to myself, but I can tell you, Jesus is very real. And we do have a Loving God. When you feel the Spirit of God and He talks to you, there is no denying it. You know it. You can accept Jesus as your Savior. Talk to Him, ask Him to forgive you. We are not perfect and He understands. Once you feel and experience Jesus, I promise you , you will hunger for more of Him. He is beautiful and your best friend, Put Him first above all. He will take care of you. Do not let Satan scare you. He is powerful, but knowone and nothing is more powerful than God, The Son and Holy Spirit. There is no name above Jesus. God bless you all, Thank you Jesus for bringing me out of the darkness and saving my soul. I have been redeemed. Praise the Lord.Amen
