We’re the ones that were bogged with the F350 and Bushtracker. We had mechanical issues, but all sorted out now. Thanks for stopping to help out guys, much appreciated 😃
It's so good to see the respect you showcase. Collecting the rubbish as you go. To see the respect you show other travellers (AKA the privacy you gave the peeps that had gotten bogged before you knew they where also bloggers) as well as to the areas you visit. I could see the gentleness you had wth the areas that where clearly more fragile than others. Seeing you guys help that turtle whilst others drove on by, was as i would expect from you. The teaching is more than the words.
Hi. That bogged F350 is a fellow UA-camr “Living Like Kings” and it turns out he lost 4WD to the front Thanks again for another great video. Truly enjoying your adventures. Thanks for sharing
Hey Keelan and Sarah the stuck 350 was Grant and Bianca ( more you tubers ).. poor guys were having a fair amount of trouble. Glad you both didnt get bogged along with them. ❤🇦🇺🦘
Awesome, another video show piece by Sarah and Keelan. I can’t believe how quickly you get these vids out and to such a high standard. Safe travels, thank you.
Camped up there some years ago, had a 60 like Toms, parked under a tree. set up a tarp over everything, sat back and enjoyed. Mate put his chair back to the hill, one time a snake crawled under then a few days later a bungarra did the same, never told him till the livestock had passed, didnt want him scaring them and risk getting bitten. One night a fox tried to pull his blanket off him. funny to watch him having a tug of war with the fox in the dark, on the beach. Went up to Rainbow, a bloke there had a Rolls 4By. Rolls threatened him with all sorts of retribution for his efforts. My 60 had over 660,000 klicks when I sold it, still didnt burn any oil, so Tom can look forward to a good run. Hope you go to Moreton I, top spot!
Now, you're more adventurous than me when it comes to the van. Thus far, I've never taken the van onto the beach yet, condemplated it, but not yet. Why, well unlike a car chassis, my caravan chassis doesn't have weap holes, and whilst it is gal impregnated steel, those internal (exposed, non treated) weld points would accumulate rust. Condemplated many times, just not done it, we store the van at Rainbow Beach & RTT it when ever beach sand salt are involved with the van. Urban may very well gal dip their chassis, if so they'd be little issue, but any grinding & welds, mods welded on after dipping leaves the exposed internal weld point subjected to rust and weak points. Each to their own. You are in paradise, do enjoy it. We absolutely love it, always an annual visit.
"He just wanted to use his winch for something other than a peg" It maybe just night shift bit I laughed so bloody hard at that. These islands are fricking amazing. Keep up the great work guys!!
Amazing video as always. Thanx for saving the turtle that was heartwarming. We watched the episode of the F truck getting stuck and had no 4 wheel drive. How amazing you were there at the same time. Cheers Johnny&Rene
Dam Keelan the 200 is just bullet proof bro, she is eating everything you guys throw at her! Another Rocken episode Legends! Thanks so much for sharing!
Fantastic video mate really enjoyed it. You both were very lucky getting through the soft sand to get off the beach. Even old mate didn’t make it. So looking forward to seeing next week episode

apparently there 4wd dash light was illuminated so they thought they were, I think they found out after because they got bogged again getting back off the beach,
Another good video thankyou very entertaining, yeh you get to a point after a while driving sand a lot when you realise to much throttle is not the best option , hearts pumping and you stomp it , Cheers Guys.

Good stuff and great music. I subbed. 😊 That F350 was looking good when it reversed but had no maxx tracks under it. It also made the fatal mistake of spinning the tyres which just dug a hole. I carry 8 tracks as I figure I can moved forward 2 m each time as a worse case scenario. Two tracks per tyre including the van.
@@Philipk65 Not sure why ‘Island’ is in the title. When you google this is what it says: ‘Double Island Point is a sandy spit found in the Cooloola National Park. It's not actually an island in any way, but rather the end of sand dune that extends into the ocean. From a distance, the point can appear to look like two islands, which is how it earned its name many years ago from Captain Cook’ The ferry that Sarah & Keelan used just crosses the river at Tewantin. Noosa Shire have just never built a bridge and the ferry is the quickest way to the North Shore Beach that they drove up. Alternatively you can drive to Rainbow Beach and get on the beach that way without having to catch a ferry. Beautiful spot, it’s a pity the weather was bad for them.
Matsos should supply you with product at the very least. Love the stuff and made a special trip to Broome to check them out. Love your work guys and safe travels
How awesome is Double Island. We camp at Inskip these days because it's dod friendly. Have you had the Matsos Mango Beer? That shit is livin Barry. Awesome video as always 🤘
Awesome filming guys. Great drone views flying along the beach Sarah. Yeah!!!🎉 Matso are great. 3 for $20 at BWS in regional NSW. Your mic. Sock works so well in that wind. ❤ it. How good is having the drone for wave hunting? Plenty of current/wind on that break, looked good fun but. Well done getting off the beach. You made it look easy from out here.
thanks Dale!! drones are valuable for that and finding sharks and fish too!! some people use them to drop baits too which im looking Into! would be pretty cool!! thanks for the comments mate!
Hey Sandra! That’s weird because We had great reception there, we sat on our phones waiting for the ferry! a cel fi booster is cheap as well so not sure if that excuse still stands in 2023, even up the tip of australia (regarded remote) at jardine ferry you can pay eftpos!
@@SarahandKeelanTravels Thanks for the info I will look into a cel fi booster. My hubby and I have been to Teewah Beach a couple of times recently and we had terrible reception when we were there :)
On one of our get aways on Teewah Beach, I had some one tell me that I didn't need to air down my trailer wheels, then when I passed him on my way onto the beach at north shore, I saw him bogged down to his axles as he didn't air down his trailer wheels 🤣🤣

Lucky you didn't try to winch him out! He would have ripped your front bar off! Speaking from experience at inskip point! He said thanks and left and cost me 3k later!
Being the good guy inverably costs yah. Love following you guys along. Australia is such a rip off. You guys are charged for evrything!! Why should you pay to travel and stay on a beach ???? !!!! NOT here in NZ. Free to go as you please. Thanks for sharing from Christchurch, New Zealand.
It used to be free. The funds go to the National Parks. Helps pay for the cost of maintaining the amenities and cleaning up the rubbish some campers leave behind.
Cash only on the Tewantin Ferry? Actually it's about the mobile phone coverage being very unreliable in that area. Certainly not reliable enough for an EFTPOS machine.
Not a valid excuse unfortunately in 2023, there are cheap and easy ways to improve cel phone coverage such as celfi boosters and even starlink. Even the jardine ferry up at cape York has eftpos 😂 we are talking about Noosa on the Sunshine Coast
@Sarah and Keelan Travels sorry. What I should've said was this: They actually tried that, I'm told, but it didn't work. The terrain in the area (the rolling hills coming in from Cooroy and the Bruce highway - the main artery for the cellular communications towers, servicing the highway / bulk of the mobile traffic) blocks mobile signal from reaching that area, it's a known black spot. There needs to be a large increase in infrastructure but none of the residents (who all like to complain about their mobiles don't work really well) don't want a stonking mobile tower in their backyards. The entire area is based off micro-cells, which are designed mainly for depth of coverage, not extended distance, but can hang off buildings, etc. This leaves the ferry, in a further hollow, down on the river about as far away and as hidden as possible from the mobile signal, so a cefigo can't improve signal. Surely, in your travels, you've come across entire towns where the banking system, including eftpos, isn't working due to the poor quality of Australia's watered-down, shitheap NBN & telecommunications network we've got? (where country towns are waiting 6+ months to get a telephone technician to vfisit, let alone parts and a revisit) And don't worry, I got caught out myself without money myself. I had to back track to the Shell and get money out, myself, to cross the ferry three weeks ago.

Haha we’re on the same page as you guys. We ain’t taking our 200 series into the salt ‘just because you can’. Fukk that hey?! 😮. Love my car too much for that PLUS it’s our tow vehicle which we want to last forever…. 😊
3:29 tyres aren’t even bagged, let me guess they get bogged lol
My tyres or the f350 tyres?
Why did you blur them?
Privacy, common decency, I could go on. There truck failed, and they were pretty bogged! Didn’t want to name and shame.
What I should've said was this:
They actually tried that, I'm told, but it didn't work.
(where country towns are waiting 6+ months to get a telephone technician to vfisit, let alone parts and a revisit)
And don't worry, I got caught out myself without money myself. I had to back track to the Shell and get money out, myself, to cross the ferry three weeks ago.
👍🏻👍🏻
