Rioters in Hong Kong weren't trying to destroy democracy (by attempting to overturn the result of an election just cos their side lost), they were trying to stop it being taken away from them. I watch this film cynically I’m afraid, how many civilians were also hurt or worse because they were foolish enough to go inside that unguarded building, ok yes they were absolutely nuts to do it, I would have thought to myself, best get home quick in case this is a set up.
In 2010 I was told to stop chewing by a police officer when we arrived in Newark airport, we were rushing to get another flight, I wasn’t chewing rudely, I said sorry and put the gum in the bin.
That speech was not the cause! The FBI and dc cops had thousands of tips about it happened the day before. This was all set up and some of the conservatives got caught up in it. They were wrong to and will pay the price.
